Peter Williams together with his son Ben pursued Gary Ward who ran off after breaking the glass at the Punchbowl Inn.
Appearing at Lincoln Crown Court today Peter Williams of New Road, Spalding admitted to assaulting Gary Ward who he'd knocked unconscious after punching him in the face last January.
His son, 39-year-old Ben Williams of Spring Gardens, admitted a lesser charge of assaulting Mr Ward by beating and was fined £400.
The court was told that South Holland District Council had carried out a review and have allowed Peter Williams to retain his personal licence so he can continue in business.

A homeowner in Goole was held up by armed robbers, who threatened him with a gun and knife, before stealing cash, jewellery, watches and a Range Rover.
Police are appealing for witnesses after four people broke into the property, on Western Road, at about 19.30 on Sunday.

South Kesteven District Council held a public consultation in October on proposals for the Rectory Farm site, which is earmarked for more than 1,000 homes.
