    A potential change in the ownership or structure of AFC Telford United will be discussed at a board meeting tonight as fans' attentions turn to matters off the field.

    The Bucks drew 1-1 at Bradford Park Avenue on Saturday but the players had to make their own way to West Yorkshire due to the club's inability to provide a coach.

    The chairman of the club's trust board Steve Bowyer told supporters on social media that things are "tough" and money is "tight" at the club which was formed in 2004 when the old Telford United FC went bust.

    Plans for a new supermarket at Rocks Green, on the edge of Ludlow will be discussed this week.

    A property group wants to build the food store and petrol station at the junction of the A49 and the A4117, next to the Rocks Green housing estate and council officers have recommended it gets planning approval.

    Some independent traders have said it'll take business away from the town centre, but supporters say shoppers currently have to travel out of town to buy groceries due to a lack of choice in Ludlow.

    The West Midlands MEP Bill Etheridge has announced he will stand for the UKIP leadership again. 

    One of the favourites, Stephen Woolfe, has now been discharged from hospital after an altercation with a fellow UKIP MEP in Strasbourg. 

    With question marks being raised over whether Mr Woolfe can continue to seek the party leadership, Mr Etheridge says he can "no longer" support his campaign and will now run himself.
