A new National Trust guidebook to the Long Mynd is published today.
It's been put together by the Shropshire-based photographer and nature writer, Andrew Fusek Peters. The Trust claims the volume, called Upland, is the first ever guidebook to the Long Mynd.
A launch and signing event takes place at the Carding Mill Valley tea rooms at 18:00 this evening.

A scheme run by Telford and Wrekin Council to help vulnerable adults is hoping to recruit more carers.
Shared Lives places adults, who need help to live independently, with a carer who welcomes them into their home and helps them develop skills to live independently.
Currently there are 104 vulnerable adults who are Shared Lives carers across the borough of Telford & Wrekin.

A woman who lured a man from Shrewsbury into a terror plot in Northern Ireland has been jailed for 16 years.
Christine Connor, 31, lured Stuart Downes by posing online as a Swedish model.
In fact, she was a lone-wolf Republican dissident.
She admitted planning to kill police officers, and throwing homemade grenades at them in Belfast four years ago.
She was arrested together with Downes and charged, but Downes killed himself in woodland off the A5 last year.

Officers from the Broseley and Much Wenlock Safer Neighbourhood Team have been called out to Shadwell Quarry, in Much Wenlock, twice in as many days following reports of a group of people in the area.
They emphasised the dangers of swimming in disused quarries and highlighted some of the risks such as the shock of the cold water and debris that may be lurking just before the surface.
Officers are in liaison with the owners of the quarry to see what more can be done to secure the site and prevent people trespassing.
Only yesterday officers were called out to a group of youngsters seen swimming in the Rover Severn at Bridgnorth.
Hot weather forecasts have prompted Public Health England to issue advice to beat the heat, external.
Its amber warning is declared when there is a 90% probability of a heatwave.
Children and the elderly are being warned to keep cool and hydrated.

Steve Morris runs Mount Pleasant Primary near Shrewsbury and is trying to balance his budget for next year.
He says extra pressure and more pupils means funding's being reduced year-on-year.

Runs continued to flow on day two of Shropshire's match with Herefordshire at Whitchurch yesterday.
In reply to the Herefordshire's first innings total of 392, Shropshire posted 367 all out.
Leading by 25 runs after the first innings, Herefordshire ended the day on 226 for 2, a lead of 251 runs.
Play at Whitchurch resumes at 11:00.
The singers Michael Ball and Alfie Boe are performing an open-air concert at Shropshire's Walcot Hall tonight.
The concert starts at 17:00.

Two firefighters who have each clocked up more than 40 years of service have been given awards to mark their dedication to the role.
Phil Smith and Dave Furber are in their 60s and have been putting out fires in Shropshire since they were in their 20s.
Both now work part time, meaning they're on call day and night and attend emergencies in their own communities.
