    A year-long trial to charge less for using car parks in Stoke-on-Trent is expected to boost trade and support the evening economy, external, according to the city council.

    From 21 Nov for a year, 28 car parks across the city will cost £1 to use after 15:00.

    No, it's not 1 April, but Staffordshire Police have told us they're keen to hear from people who're clowning around.

    A craze imported from the USA has seen people dressing as clowns and scaring passers-by, often late at night, including in Stoke-on-Trent

    Officers say they can be very intimidating and scaring people, especially children and vulnerable people, in this way is completely unacceptable and could constitute an offence, external.

    The police have received a number of reports relating to this sightings and are aware of rumours that are circulating on social media.

    Two people are being held on suspicion of murder after a two-year-old girl was found dead in Stoke-on-Trent this morning.

    Officers have been searching a property and alleyway on Packett Street in Fenton since 10:00 this morning.

    A post-mortem examination will be held on Wednesday to try and establish the cause of death.

    A 19-year-old woman and a 22-year-old-man are being questioned by officers.

    For the first time, cameras have gone behind the scenes of a top secret location in the West Midlands which houses everyone's wills. 

    Will warehouse in the West Midlands

    The warehouse holds 41 million documents, including those of famous Midlanders and celebrities. 

    It also contains the wills of almost 300,000 soldiers, some of which were written on the battlefields of World War One.

    A man's been airlifted to Royal Stoke Hospital after police believe he was injured by a bull in Sandbach. 

    North West Ambulance Service says he had multiple injuries, external - but they're not thought to be life-threatening at the moment. 

    It happened at about 11:00 this morning on Hind Heath Road. Emergency services are still on the scene.

    A minor injuries unit for under 16s at Stafford's County hospital isn't enough, according to a local councillor. 

    The service opens today, following the temporary suspension of A and E for under 18s in August.
