It's the final day of the consultation on proposals for the Cambridgeshire/Peterborough and Norfolk/Suffolk devolution deals which brings to an end a six-week consultation period.

The consultation ends at midnight tonight.

The deals would bring funding to the area, including £300 million for housing and £45 million a year for infrastructure.

The results will then be considered by the councils, they'll each then have to officially accept the deal, before the secretary of state for local government signs it off.

That could be as early as the end of this year, with mayoral elections taking place next May.

It's the final day of the consultation on proposals for the Cambridgeshire/Peterborough, external and Norfolk/Suffolk, external devolution deals.

Over the last six weeks, the public have been invited to give their opinions on whether or not Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, and Norfolk and Suffolk, should club together, in return for more powers and money from government. The consultations end at midnight tonight.

The original plan was to have one big East Anglia deal, external, but that was rejected by a number of councils on the basis that it was too big an area for one mayor to oversee.

The idea is that we'll keep our existing councils, but we'll also have a joint authority headed up by an elected mayor, who would be responsible for strategic matters, like transport, roads, planning and housing.

Mischa Pearson from The Teapot Project, external says the box has been dilapidated for some time: "We're putting in plans to try and renovate it.

"It will cost a bit of money but I really do see the value in these landmarks... It seems such a shame for it to be so heavily vandalised."

"But if a public or charitable body makes an application to adopt the box and firmly commits to restoring it within an agreed timescale then we'll consider the application further.

The estate was purchased in 1666 by Henry Bennett, Earl of Arlington and secretary of state to the newly-restored monarch, King Charles II.

The 2nd Duke of Grafton remodelled it in 1750 using designs by Matthew Brettingham (who also designed Holkham Hall in Norfolk). It's currently closed to the public due to renovation work, and is due to reopen in 2017.

The estate lies on the A1088, between Honington and Thetford.

The 20-year-old impressed as a second half substitute during Sunday's drawn East Anglian derby, after which McCarthy likened him to one of Norwich's key players.

"He could offer us what Wes Hoolahan (pictured) offers them. There is no doubting that he has that level of ability.

"He is wonderful on the ball and can go past people for fun."

Bringing in Kevin Bru for the 20-year-old was the only change McCarthy made to the side that drew at Wolves five days earlier to the frustration of some supporters.

"At this moment in time, Bish hasn't got the endurance to play on a Tuesday and then again the following Sunday. He can't do three games in a week," he said.

"It's been great to have him back and we all want to see him in the team, but we must be patient with him."

Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy has told fans not to expect too much, too soon from midfielder Teddy Bishop.

    Teddy Bishop

The 20-year-old was a surprise omission from the team that started in Sunday's 1-1 draw against Norwich, after impressing in the previous game at Wolves.

McCarthy says that although Bishop is now fully fit after a torrid time with injuries, he still has to be careful with him.

"He's been out for nearly 12 months and I think we forget that he has missed a huge part of his development.

"We need to get him as strong as he can be and, when he is, he'll be a proper threat."
