A man is due before magistrates in Ipswich this morning, charged with attempted murder.
The 29-year-old, of no fixed address, was questioned by detectives in connection with an incident in Ipswich just after 22:30 on Friday, in Prospect Street off Bramford Road.
A man in his forties, who had stab wounds to his chest, is described as being in a stable condition in hospital.
