Brrrr, that was a chilly start to the day. I clocked a temperature of 7C (45F) as I drove in, but Elizabeth Rizzini has assured us it's going to warm up considerably during the day. We'll bring you her full forecast shortly.

St Elizabeth Hospice is committed to doing another trail, "in the not too distant future" - that's according to CEO Mark Millar.

Norman Lloyd is back on stage...flowers are being given out... a few tears seem to be being shed...and there's a big announcement.

Norman is recapping the extra help the Pigs Gone Wild trail has had - from sponsors including the Ipswich Star and items like the sticker book.

The total amount raised by Pigs Gone Wild 2016...

£195,050!

So, that's your lot. Well done to all involved.

The top three pigs:

1. Ipswich Blue - £6,500
2. Ed Sheer-Ham - £6,200
3. Stymante - £5,800

A great way to finish - the blank pig attracts a lot of interest and sells for £4,000...getting a massive round of applause.

Thirty nine pigs have been sold - for a total of £148,000!

There's one more pig - as a bonus it's a blank junior pig - basically giving bidders who have missed out a chance to spend their money.

The winning bidder will get to choose an artist to help make a design of their choice.

"This pig is based on the old English name of Ipswich, Gippeswyk, place of the Gipping," says the blurb.

It was designed by Lois Cordelia, who is in the room doing some live painting, and reaches £3,800.

Lot 38 sells for £4,000.

Pigs Can Fly was one of the more elaborate designs on the trail - with the added wings making it an imposing figure inside Sailmakers.

Bidding seemed to stall at £2,500, but it recovered as the auctioneer was about to sell it - and went on to reach £3,700.

"You're running out of time to bid," yells the auctioneer.

This may have been my favourite pig on the trail - the colours are really nice.

Matt Sewell is the artist, I'm not sure who the buyer is... but they've paid £3,800 for it.

Lot 35, To Bee A Pig, is at the centre of a bidding war between the internet and people currently at the bar. 

"Get them another drink quickly," shouts the auctioneer as bidding reaches £4,600.

And that's where it stays - sold for £4,600 to an online bidder.

But no! In the last second someone raises their paddle to bid £4,700 and we're back in the room.

No, we're online at £4,800. And that is where it stays. For definite this time.

Matt Reeve's pig proves to be a sleeper hit with the bidders - making £4,050.

Well done to all involved, the fundraising target has been smashed - with seven pigs to go.

Major Tim Pig sold for £3,200.

This was always going to be popular, but bidding was surprisingly slow.

"It's a great opportunity if you haven't bought one yet," says the auctioneer...but surprisingly the Bowie tribute sells for £2,600.

Disaster as the Wifi went down at Trinity Park, leaving us high and dry for a while.
