    Brrrr, that was a chilly start to the day. I clocked a temperature of 7C (45F) as I drove in, but Elizabeth Rizzini has assured us it's going to warm up considerably during the day. We'll bring you her full forecast shortly.

    Greater Anglia are reporting "good services" across all routes, and there don't appear to be any problems on the roads, unless you know differently, in which case, drop me an email and I'll warn other people.

    Elsewhere, we'll be looking at homework for primary school children, hearing concerns about nursing shortages in some of our community hospitals, and of course, catching up on the big sporting news from across the county.

    Thirty nine pigs have been sold - for a total of £148,000!

    There's one more pig - as a bonus it's a blank junior pig - basically giving bidders who have missed out a chance to spend their money.

    The winning bidder will get to choose an artist to help make a design of their choice.

    "This pig is based on the old English name of Ipswich, Gippeswyk, place of the Gipping," says the blurb.

    It was designed by Lois Cordelia, who is in the room doing some live painting, and reaches £3,800.

    Pigs Can Fly was one of the more elaborate designs on the trail - with the added wings making it an imposing figure inside Sailmakers.

    Bidding seemed to stall at £2,500, but it recovered as the auctioneer was about to sell it - and went on to reach £3,700.

    Lot 35, To Bee A Pig, is at the centre of a bidding war between the internet and people currently at the bar. 

    "Get them another drink quickly," shouts the auctioneer as bidding reaches £4,600.

    And that's where it stays - sold for £4,600 to an online bidder.

    But no! In the last second someone raises their paddle to bid £4,700 and we're back in the room.

    No, we're online at £4,800. And that is where it stays. For definite this time.
