  8. Diamonds are Forever...published at 20:25 British Summer Time 22 September 2016

Bling is popular here at Trinity Park.

Stymantle had its own entrance music - Diamonds Are Forever, of course - and attracted bids galore.

Two women went head to head, quickly topping £4,000 - before a male bidder got involved.

The pig is "diamond encrusted" apparently, and looks fancy in the flesh.

Anyway... bidding kept on going, £5,000...£5,100....£5,400 - and that's the lot.

Woah woah, not so fast. £5,600, £5,700....£5,800.

That really is it. Good work!

  12. The Force is strong(ish) with this pigpublished at 20:16 British Summer Time 22 September 2016

Bids galore on the internet, as the Force awakens with Star Wars fans.

It's slow going... with a low starting price, and somehow only makes £2,200 - via an online bid.

  13. Despigable Mepublished at 20:14 British Summer Time 22 September 2016

I admit to sighing a bit when I saw the Minions themed pig on the Cornhill. It has piggy versions of the Minions plastered all over it, and is called The Swinions.

Oink oink. It sells for £3,600.

Boarba Fett is next up and could be a big one...

  14. Pig N Mixpublished at 20:12 British Summer Time 22 September 2016

A good example of a pig pun and design going hand in hand - with dolly mixtures and eggs making an attractive porker (if you like that kind of thing).

It sells for £5,000, but was almost the first internet sale of the night at £4,600.

  16. Arrrrggghhh, Frankenswine scares off bidderspublished at 20:07 British Summer Time 22 September 2016

    Frankenswine, Frankenswine's Monster...?

It's a good looking pig, but struggles to match the big hitters when it comes to bidding - making £2,600.

It's incredible that £2,600 seems a low price! And a good sign the auction is going well.

Both should trouble the current high price of £6,500.

  19. First 10 pigs make £43,000published at 20:01 British Summer Time 22 September 2016

That's very impressive - and still another 29 pigs to go. I think the £100,000 target is going to be reached comfortably.

  20. Tally Ho - the first pig to be designed is carried on stage to cheerspublished at 19:59 British Summer Time 22 September 2016

Tally Ho (right) was the early poster boy for the Pigs Gone Wild campaign and is given a hero's welcome at Trinity Park.

Bidding is slow, with no-one initially tempted by the £2,000 starting price, but it built to a not-too-shabby £4,800.
