Ipswich Town's, external on-loan midfielder Jonny Williams takes being labelled "injury prone" in his stride and is even able to have a laugh about it.

The 23-year-old has had several periods out injured since his first spell at Portman Road in 2014, although he's fit now and available to face Rotherham tomorrow.

"I've seen that I'm even classed as injury prone on [video game] FIFA and that did hurt to be honest," Williams joked.

"It's one of those things you take on the chin, [Arsenal's] Jack Wilshere is the same. 

"I wouldn't say I'm injury prone - I'd say I'm prone to bad tackles because of the way I play and that's something I won't change."

Ipswich Town boss Mick McCarthy says tomorrow's home game against struggling Rotherham United won't be the walk in the park that some fans are expecting.

The Millers are currently bottom of the Championship, without an away win this season and McCarthy's expecting them to try to grind out at least a point.

"You're not going to get out of their predicament playing silky football," he told BBC Suffolk Sport.

"It really will be a bit of a siege mentality, backs to the wall, don't concede, be hard to beat and you always get a chance to score. 

"It can change the course of the game, their season, if they can nick a win."

If you've carved a pumpkin for Hallowe'en and are wondering what to do with the mountain of flesh you've removed, then read on.

Jane Sago, chairman of the Suffolk East Federation of WI, external has been telling BBC Radio Suffolk's Mark Murphy breakfast programme how to make pumpkin soup.

Here's the recipe:

• 1kg pumpkin flesh cut into small pieces
• 2tbsp vegetable oil
• 1tbsp fresh thyme (or 1tsp dried)
• 2tsp ground coriander
• 1 large red onion, peeled and chopped
• 750ml vegetable stock
• 400g can red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
• 15g fresh coriander
• Greek style yoghurt to serve

Method:

• Halve the pumpkin, scoop out the seeds and discard. Cut the flesh into thick slices, trim away the skin from each side and roughly chop
• Heat oil in a large sauce pan. Add pumpkin, thyme, spices and onion and fry for five minutes, stirring all the time, until the vegetables are lightly coloured
• Add stock and bring to the boil. Reduce heat, cover with a lid, and simmer gently for 10-15 minutes, until the pumpkin is tender. Stir in kidney beans and cook for a further two minutes
• Using a hand-held blender, or a potato masher if you prefer, pulp the soup lightly until the vegetables are broken up, but still quite chunky
• Stir in the fresh, roughly chopped coriander, reserving a few leaves for garnish, and season to taste. Serve topped with spoonfuls of yoghurt and remaining coriander

Elvis Porksley, one of the sculptures from the Ipswich Pigs Gone Wild art trail, is up for sale again, to raise even more money for St Elizabeth Hospice, external.

Neptune Marina successfully bid for the Elvis, as well as Piggy the Sailor, raising a total of £6,800 for the hospice, but have decided to donate Elvis so he can be auctioned again. 

Alan Swann, managing director of the marina, said: "We were very excited to bring Porksley and Piggy the Sailor to their new home.

"Since they took their trip down the river earlier this month, we have decided that we don't need two pigs, and we thought gifting Elvis back to the hospice would be a great way to raise more money for the local charity and give those people who missed out on owning a pig the first time, another opportunity to buy one."

If you want to bid for Elvis, he's available via eBay, external.

A two-year campaign to save a village pub has been successful, with funding to secure the future of the Duke of Marlborough in Somersham near Ipswich being raised locally.

Frances Brace, from the campaign group behind the fund-raising, says there's still some way to go though, before they'll be pulling pints.

"We've got to wait obviously until we complete and exchange, but we've then got to get it open," she said.

"To get us open you have to be able to comply with all the regulatory obligations and have insurance and do all of those kind of things... and you need to buy stock."

We've been looking at the "staggering" number of drivers who've been caught speeding in just three months over the Orwell Bridge.

Police say 4,000 drivers were clocked exceeding the 60mph (95km/h) limit between July and September - that's more than 40 a day.

I don't know about you, but every time I drive through an area with these cameras there are always drivers who put their brakes on as they pass the cameras, and then speed up afterwards.

Is there a general lack of knowledge about what "average speed" actually means?

Suffolk Police have revealed that 4,000 drivers had been caught speeding in just three months over the Orwell Bridge.

Speaking afterwards he said he was "staggered" by the figures and "failed to understand how people using the roads can miss or even ignore the 60mph [95km/h] signs".

He added that he was "reassured that the figures were coming down". 

The speed limit was introduced in July with the aim of reducing accidents and carriageway closures.

Councillors asked Highways England to provide data on the number of crashes or closures on the bridge since July, but the government agency said it was too soon to produce any meaningful data.

A letter sent to residents urging them to check their eligibility to vote directs them to a hardcore porn website.

Senior Director at Mid Suffolk District Council, external Mike Evans has explained how letters were delivered to people containing a link to an adult website.

He said the documents were affected by an "anonymised mail merge".

"There are about 83,000 of these letters that we use the services of the Electoral Reform Society to put out, but in the latter stages, when we get to the second reminders we do that ourselves because the numbers are much much smaller and we do it through a simple mail merge from an anonymised data base on our electoral role," he said.

"It was simply that mail merge and the placeholder "xxx" that resulted in that mistake and again we apologise for that. 

"It was embarrassing and it was not our intention to embarrass anybody who might have clicked on that link."

Mid Suffolk council has apologised to people who've received a letter with a link to a pornographic website.

Mike Evans, senior director, said: "It's embarrassing, it clearly was a mistake. 

"It was not our intention to embarrass anybody in the district and the first thing I would like to say is to apologise to anybody who has received this letter."

Mr Evans added: "We think about 80 documents were hand-delivered by canvassers in the wards of Claydon and Barham.

"These were a second reminder chasing up people who hadn't responded to initial communications about registering for elections."
