"They've come to see their team who they've supported all their lives, play well, win a game, certainly play better than that and they didn't.

"Somebody's just given me the stats, the wins that we've had in nine games, that's not good enough and fans want to see us win, so I have no complaints with it at all."

  11. Call for crackdown on fly-tippingpublished at 10:23 Greenwich Mean Time 28 December 2016

    Flytipping

The CLA wants a Christmas fly-tipping crackdown, external, launched by the Local Government Association, to continue throughout 2017.

Tim Woodward, from the association, says: "Council tips aren't open as often as they used to be, they've restricted the opening hours, they're charging more - but that really is no excuse for dumping hazardous waste, old sofas, fridges, old cookers, on somebody else's land either on a roadside verge or in somebody else's gateway.

"There's no excuse for doing that, it's an environmental crime and we want more of a crackdown than there has been."

Is fly-tipping a problem where you live? What do you think should be done? Drop us an email, or post a message on our Facebook page, external.
