    A woman in her 20s has died following a single vehicle collision in Thorndon yesterday morning.

    Police say they were called just before 08:30 by the ambulance service to reports that a Peugeot car had been found in a ditch.

    The woman, believed to have been in the vehicle, was found nearby with serious injuries. She died at the scene.

    In a second collision a short while later, a woman died after being hit by a car at Great Bradley north of Haverhill.

    The woman in her 40s was treated by paramedics, but also died at the scene.
