  17. The scene in Crowfieldpublished at 10:28 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January 2017

    Luke Deal
    BBC Radio Suffolk

I'm here in Crowfield, where there is an outer cordon in place, as well as an inner cordon, further up the road, as police attempt to engage with a man in a property in the village.

In addition to the police vehicles, there's an ambulance parked up in a driveway.

    Police car in Crowfield

Police have told us they've been here since about 23:15, and that they're "concerned" about the welfare of a man in a property further up the village, but that's all they're saying for now.

A few moments ago another couple of police cars arrived and went further into the village, and the police dog unit came out of Crowfield and headed towards Coddenham.
