New guidance has been issued by NHS England on what to do to help acid attack victims.

Adele Bellis was scarred for life after acid was thrown on her. She lost an ear, suffered scars to her head, face, neck and head, and was left partially bald in the attack which happened in Lowestoft in 2014.

Adele says her attack was so sudden it was difficult for witnesses to react, as they were in shock themselves.

She would like to see higher sentences for those who carry out such attacks.
