Yesterday's 2-0 defeat to Leiston, external at the Amber Dew Events Stadium brought to an end a difficult opening month of the season for Lowestoft Town., external
The Trawler Boys have one win and four defeats from their opening five fixtures, and are in the relegation zone, albeit with 41 matches still to play in the Bostik Premier Division.
"My players need to look at themselves," said Lowestoft manager Ady Gallagher.
"They need to put in performances right through the game from the first minute to the last."
"It's easy sometimes to be really brave when you're 2-0 down, but it's too late then, and I don't think we've been brave enough today. As a group, we have to improve."
Lowestoft will take a break from Bostik Premier action this coming weekend as they visit Bedford Town in the first round of qualifying for this season's FA Cup.

Leiston's, external unbeaten start to the new Bostik League season continued yesterday with a 2-0 win at Suffolk rivals Lowestoft Town., external
Robert Eagle and Joe Marsden, both former Lowestoft players, scored in the second half for Glenn Driver's side, who move up to fourth in the table.

"Their absence didn't give me a headache, because Joe came in and gave a man-of-the-match performance. I always know he has the ability to perform like that.
"We've come here and we've taken the game to Lowestoft. You'd have thought we were the home team in the first half.
"We've absolutely battered them. How we haven't come in at half time three or four goals to the good I don't know."
A neighbour has described hearing what sounded like an explosion, as a thatched cottage in Creeting St Mary near Needham Market, was badly damaged by fire on Sunday afternoon.
Graham Moore said: "I went round the farm and this old tank was like a massive blaze.
"I'd heard a sort of sound like an explosion and somebody screamed, the dog was barking, so I rushed round there and immediately rushed in and dialled 999 but apparently they'd already called the fire brigade and that was it."
Crews from towns including Hadleigh, Leiston, Woodbridge and Stowmarket were sent to the scene on Sunday afternoon.

The weather is on the turn, and we're going to notice quite a change, depending on whereabouts in the region you are.
We have a cold front approaching, so the further north and west you are, the more chance you have of seeing cloud increase during the day but also quite a drop in the temperature, only getting to the high teens for Cambridgeshire, parts of Norfolk and Northamptonshire.
Further south though, Essex in particular, we're looking at temperatures of about 25C (77F).
