    A senior Welsh Conservative source has told BBC Wales the party fears at least three losses - Gower, Vale of Clwyd and Cardiff North.

    The source said two other seats - Aberconwy and Vale of Glamorgan were looking tight.

    Asked if he thought the party was making any gains in Wales tonight, the source said: "No."

    Labour candidate for Gower Tonia Antoniazzi says she's been encouraged by the increased turnout in the constituency.

    The turnout is 73.4% up from 69.2% in 2015.

    But she says "I'm not taking anything for granted. It's been a tough battle and we've been short of funds".

    There have been whispers that the Conservatives could lose Gower, which they won last time by just 27 votes.

    More turnouts are coming in for Welsh constituencies, and so far all but one seat has seen an increase compared to the last general election.

    • Swansea East - 60.17% up from 58% in 2015
    • Swansea West - 65.7% up from 59.7% in 2015
    • Delyn - 73% up from 69.9% in 2015
    • Rhondda - 65.3% up from 60.9% in 2015

    The exception to the rule so far is Cardiff North where turnout was 68.2%, down from 76.1% in 2015

    Shadow Wales Office Minister Gerald Jones has said the jump in turnout could be down to young voters.

    David Jones, Conservative Brexit minister and the incumbent for Clwyd West, says the exit poll "could clearly be better" but he said results coming in since the prediction that the Conservatives could fail to win an overall majority, suggest the forecast could be wrong.

    He said more results were needed before a clear picture could be formed.

    Blaenau Gwent's Labour AM, Welsh Government minister Alun Davies says if the exit poll forecast is correct and the Tories fail to win an overall majority, it would mean "Theresa May has no mandate" and that she "would have to resign in the morning".

    Turnouts for some seats in Wales are up compared to 2015.

    Our reporters at the counts are saying:

    • In Vale of Glamorgan, the turnout was 72.2% - up from 71% in 2015
    • Torfaen 62.2% up from 61.4% in 2015
    • Ogmore turnout 65.26%, up from 64%
    • Merthyr Tydfil and Rhymney 61%, a big jump from 2015 when it was 53%
    • Vale of Clwyd 68% up from the last general election when it was 63%
    • Wrexham turnout 70% up from 64.2 % in 2015
