Police said the eight people may be potential witnesses to the attack last summer

Police have released several photos of people they think could help in the hunt for a Wolverhampton man's killer.

Shropshire factory worker Thomas Kirwan, 23, was fatally stabbed outside the Uberra Club in July. Several other people were also injured.

A total of 11 people have been arrested and bailed by officers investigating the attack.

Detectives said the people captured on CCTV were potential witnesses and may be able to provide new information.

West Midlands Police said they were all in the area at the time of the attack and may even have helped those injured.

Det Insp Warren Hines said: "We would urge anyone in these images, anyone who recognises the people in these images or anyone who has information but have not already spoken to police to contact us."

Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Jody Craddock planted a tree earlier in memory of Mr Kirwan, a fan of the club, on parkland next to Little's Lane.
