SNP councillors in Aberdeen are calling for a special meeting to discuss the future of plans for a new road bridge over the River Don.

The party has made an official request about the Third Don Crossing.

Supporters of the project insist the bridge would ease traffic congestion.

However, Labour has long been opposed to the route currently planned at Tillydrone.
