Best beards at the French Beard Championships

Dozens of men have been showing off their finest facial hair at the French Beard Championships in Paris.

The championship saw contestants compete to be named the Best of the Beards.

This year, there were 15 categories and 86 competitors took part, with looks ranging from a Viking style to something a described as 'curled-forked'.
