If you've ever wanted a peek behind the royal doors, then you're in luck!
An area of Buckingham Palace called the 'East Wing' is going to be open to the public for the first time this summer.
As part of the tour you can see the 'Centre Room' which is where the Royal Family gathers during big occasions, before heading out on the balcony to wave to crowds.

Why is the East Wing important?

Special guided tours of the Principal Floor will be available to visitors in July and August
You might remember some big historic moments where the Royal Family have gone out onto the balcony to wave to crowds.
Occasions like Royal weddings, funerals and coronations.

Many monarchs and their families have gathered on the balcony and surrounding rooms ahead of public appearances
This special guided tour won't allow visitors onto the balcony itself, but you can see the Centre Room, which is where Royals have gathered for public appearances for nearly two hundred years.
If you get a spot on the tour, you'll see the Chinese-themed décor in some of the rooms, to reflect the King's love of Asian art and design.
It's taken five years of improvements, but the area will be open to visitors from July.
