Car owners in the UK are feeling blue - but what colour car is your favourite?

It's a wheel-y good day for the colour blue, as it's been officially declared one of the UK's top three favourite car colours for 2024.

The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) has released figures showing the amount of cars bought by drivers in the UK in 2024, and created a list of the most popular colours.

Blue zoomed to third position for the first time since 2010, with almost 15% percent of all cars bought in 2024 last year being blue - almost 300,000 cars.

Green cars had good luck in 2024

The top and second spots are held by grey and black for the seventh year running, with white being pipped to the post this year by blue.

And green cars, despite sometimes being thought of as bad luck, are more popular than they have been in 20 years according to the SMMT figures.
