The trophy for the 2026 Brit Awards has been revealed.

It's been created by British designer Matthew Williamson, who took his inspiration from the city of Manchester - the new home of the Brits.

One of the symbols of Manchester is a worker bee, and the trophy has been made from amber-toned resin to look like a drip of golden honey.

The Brit Awards will take place at the city's Co-op Live venue on Saturday 28 February 2026.

It's the first time in the Brits' 48-year history that the ceremony has been held outside of London.

Talking about the trophy, designer Matthew said he "wanted to create something timeless and stylish that each recipient would feel proud to own and display.

I wanted to ensure it connected to Manchester, the Brits' new location and my hometown."

He said his final design reflected "the golden honey of a worker bee, symbolising the city's role during the Industrial Revolution and so much more".
