When should children be allowed to have a smartphone?
According to Ofcom, who monitor the media in the UK, nine in 10 children own a mobile phone by the time they reach the age of 11.
Prince William says his main problem with mobile phones is the internet access, and thinks that having a phone that can only ring and text is "fine".
Phones that can't connect to the internet and social media are often called brick phones or dumb phones.
