£55 million

Manchester City signed a 24-year-old Kevin de Bruyne from German side Wolfsburg in 2015 for a club record of £55 million.
The midfielder initially agreed a six-year deal with the north-west side.
At the time, it was the second highest fee paid by a British club for a player.
Manager Pep Guardiola joined Manchester City a year later and helped develop De Bruyne into a central midfielder.
106 goals

The Belgium captain has scored 106 goals in 413 appearances in all competitions for City.
Since joining the club, the star midfielder has the most Premier League assists as well as chances created.
Announcing the news, de Bruyne wrote: "We cannot thank the city, club, staff, team-mates, friends, and family enough for this 10-year ride."
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola responded by called De Bruyne "one of the greatest midfielders to ever play in this country."
2023

In 2023, de Bruyne was part of the Manchester City squad that won the historic Treble.
In terms of English football, that's the super-rare feat of winning the three most important trophies - the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League - all in the same season.
It was also the first time that City had won the Champions League title - the biggest club competition in European football.
They beat Inter Milan 1-0 in Istanbul and held a huge bus parade on the streets of Manchester to celebrate.
33 years old

The 33-year-old has struggled with injury in recent years but is still a huge talent.
Many people are now wondering which Club he is likely to head to next.
Although nothing has been confirmed so far, de Bruyne has previously said he was "open to everything" last summer after being linked with a move to Saudi Arabia.
What is known however, is that Manchester City are planning a big send off for their star midfielder before the end of the season.
In a statement they said: "The club and all of our fans will now take the time to deliver a fitting tribute and farewell to one of the greatest players to ever play in the Premier League."
