Holiday kitchen helps support families in Manchester

During term-time some schools provide free meals for families who struggle to afford to pay for healthy foods.

But when the school term ends, families with children who usually rely on this extra support, no longer get those free meals.

Ricky's been to a club in Greater Manchester where kids and their parents can come along for free, to get active and learn about how to prepare a healthy and nutritious meal.
