Annual Christmas tree throwing contest held in Germany

Christmas may be over, but one town in Germany is still having fun with their old trees - by throwing them!

The Christmas Tree Throwing World Championship is in its fourteenth year, hosted by a town called Weidenthal.

Competitors are judged on the overall distance and height that they manage to throw their tree.

This year, the winner managed an impressive distance of 25 metres - about three times the length of a double-decker bus.
