Ocean Exploration Trust's mission to explore bottom of our seas

Did you know the ocean covers around 70% of our planet, but 95% of it is still unexplored?!

Well, a group of scientists from the Ocean Exploration Trust wants to change this.

They decided to embark on an epic mission in 2008 to discover more about the bottom of our oceans.

The scientists have to use special deep sea exploration vehicles, which can cope with the really high levels of pressure at the bottom of the sea - from all of the water weighing down on them.

So far they have discovered new species of weird and wonderful animals, and ancient hidden shipwrecks.

Watch Naz's report on the mission and some of the amazing things that have been found.
