Commonwealth Games opening ceremony starts with a bang

All eyes were on Birmingham on Thursday night for the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony.

From royals to drummers to animatronic bulls, Alexander Stadium was a feast for the eyes of its audience of 30,000 and viewers at home.
