Eid al-Fitr 2023: We've been asking how you celebrate

Millions of Muslims all around the world are preparing to celebrate Eid al-Fitr which marks the end of Ramadan.

Eid al-Fitr is one of the biggest celebrations in the Islamic year and means 'festival of the breaking of the fast'.

Ramadan is a holy month of fasting - so during it Muslims won't eat or drink between dawn and sunset.

Fasting is important for Muslims during Ramadan as it allows them to devote themselves to their faith and come closer to Allah, or God.
