  1. Turnover - Eagles ball!published at 21:27 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January

    Washington Commanders 12-20 Philadelphia Eagles

Oh wow, just when you thought it couldn't get any crazier!

Jeremy McNichols coughs up possession on the kick-off return and Philadelphia have the ball deep in Washington territory as they managed to dive on the loose ball.

    Just a massive play.

  3. touchdown

Touchdown - Eagles!published at 21:21 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January

    Washington Commanders 12-20 Philadelphia Eagles

Inevitable! Jalen Hurts on the one-yard tush push. But that's just the start as flags fly in and players are pushing and shoving everywhere!

The flag is on Marshon Lattimore again for his scuffle with AJ Brown and there's handbags all over the field. The result is the penalty on Washington moves the ball back to the one and Philly will go for a two-point conversion.

But this time that Brotherly Shove is stopped on the line by Washington!

  4. Big flag!published at 21:20 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January

    Washington Commanders 12-14 Philadelphia Eagles

Touchdown! No, DeVonta Smith can't hang onto the pass, but in flies a flag on Washington's Marshon Lattimore for pass interference and that'll place the ball on the one-yard line.

    We know what's coming here....

  5. False startpublished at 21:18 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January

    Washington Commanders 12-14 Philadelphia Eagles

Jalen Hurts with a false start on third down - you don't see a lot of that, possibly due to a back-up centre being in?

Hurts is back in form. Even though he had a little slow down in the last game, he realises he’s got weapons outside. He just needs to throw to them and have faith in them. And with Barkley, the Eagles have a 1-2 punch.

  7. Two-minute warningpublished at 21:16 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January

    Washington Commanders 12-14 Philadelphia Eagles

What a way to bring up the two-minute warning with that huge play for Philly - especially as TV replays show they got away with a hold on that AJ Brown reception so that should've been called back.

Games have been won and lost on less.

  8. Huge play!published at 21:13 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January

    Washington Commanders 12-14 Philadelphia Eagles

Fourth down, five yards to go and the Eagles go for it, and go for it big time as Jalen Hurts lashes a deep ball 31 yards down the left sideline for AJ Brown to collect a huge catch.

Brown is just a nightmare for defenders due to his size and speed - and after two quiet games so far in the play-offs he's stepping up tonight.

After what could be a huge play in this game, Philly power to the Washington 14 and when they get this close they're pretty deadly.

  9. Tush pushpublished at 21:10 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January

    Washington Commanders 12-14 Philadelphia Eagles

The 'Brotherly Shove' is out again even with back-up centre Landon Dickerson struggling a bit with his knee, and again it's successful, it's just so hard to stop.

Don't love the play personally - I don't mind the QB sneak but the crowd of players pushing the quarterback doesn't sit right with me. There's always a suspicion of the Eagles offensive line just going a bit early as well. But anyway...

What a great run from Terry McLaurin, he has incredible pace. I don't mind the call going for two to tie the game as the difference between being down one or two won't be terribly costly for Washington in the long run.

  11. Magic of McLaurinpublished at 21:07 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January

    Washington Commanders 12-14 Philadelphia Eagles

Watching that touchdown back and having seen a lot of him this season, Terry McLaurin probably needs a bit more respect on him - such a fantastic receiver with that great mix of great hands, great strength and great speed.

    Elite.

  12. touchdown

Touchdown - Commanders!published at 21:02 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January

Jayden Daniels to Terry McLaurin across the middle and the wide receivers takes off for an incredible 36-yard touchdown.

Again it was an incredibly tight window that Daniels found and McLaurin not only brought in a great catch, but then burst a couple of tacklers and raced free for his 10th touchdown in nine games.

They go for two and the tie but Austin Ekeler is smashed well short after a lobbed pass out left - Daniels had two men right so would like to have that one back.

    But still, GAME ON!

I would not have kicked that field goal. I'd have punted that ball as deep into Washington territory as possible. Jake Elliott is one of seven from 50-yards plus this year. I don't like the decision to kick.

  14. Daniels back on the fieldpublished at 21:00 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January

    Washington Commanders 6-14 Philadelphia Eagles

OK, so could that be a momentum shift here? Jayden Daniels is back on the field and takes off for a six-yard run before hitting John Bates for a first down.

This is from a decent starting point just inside their own half too so Washington are quickly across midfield.

  15. field goal

Field goal missed!published at 20:57 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January

    Washington Commanders 6-14 Philadelphia Eagles

And that sack may have saved three points for Washington, as Jake Elliott misses his first field goal of the play-offs with his 54-yard effort just peeling off to his right and missing the target.

Stick that one down for the Washington defence.

  16. Sack!published at 20:55 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January

    Washington Commanders 6-14 Philadelphia Eagles

First sack of the game as Jalen Hurts goes down. Frankie Luvu drags the Eagles QB to the ground for a loss of nine yards and that's huge on third down as Philly will have to now attempt a long field goal.

  17. Tush pushpublished at 20:53 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January

    Washington Commanders 6-14 Philadelphia Eagles

There's a back-up centre snapping the ball to Jalen Hurts today but that's not going to stop them using their famous tush push to ge the one yard they needed to convert on third down.

  18. Postpublished at 20:52 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January

    Washington Commanders 6-14 Philadelphia Eagles

One of those top tier receivers Dallas Goedert converts on third down with Washington just playing their coverage a bit soft for me in the secondary.

Goedert caught that ball right on the line to gain and he was never going to be stopped - he's the king of the stiff arm after all...

  19. 'Barkley looks like the best NFL player in the world'published at 20:49 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January

    Washington Commanders 6-14 Philadelphia Eagles

    Greg Brady
NFL pundit on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Will Washington have to force a Philadelphia turnover? Probably. They have to get the points back. It has put Washington in a hole now where their running game might not be as prominent, and also, Saquon Barkley will be in their heads a little bit. He looks like the best NFL player in the world right now.

  20. Postpublished at 20:49 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January

    Washington Commanders 6-14 Philadelphia Eagles

Saquon Barkley is stuffed on his first run, but the Commanders are so concerned about him they leave a bit of space for Jalen Hurts to hit AJ Brown for a big first down.

The Eagles have two elite receivers in Brown and DeVonta Smith, plus a top-tier tight end in Dallas Goedert too - it's just Barkley is so good he dominates their offence.
