Travis Kelce feeling the frustration of being kept out of the game by the 49ers defence.

Patrick Mahomes is just being manhandled by this 49ers defence so far, as he wriggles out of a sack but then is tacked after a short gain of three yards or so, meaning the Chiefs have to punt yet again.

Defences on top would be an understatement.

There seems to be a bit of confusion among the refs whether Patrick Mahomes is guilty of intentional grounding as he just throws the ball away when getting tackled.

Eventually it is and it costs the Chiefs 10 yards as they face a second and 20 backed up on their own 10.

Patrick Mahomes has had enough and launches a deep bomb that's caught by Mecole Hardman right down the 10-yard line to set the Chiefs up to try and score.

What a play.

Rookie Rashee Rice gets the hand off to convert a short yardage first down - it almost looks like he offloaded it right at the end as the ball ended up with Justin Watson!
