Super Bowl LVIII is one of a few 'firsts'. The first in Las Vegas and the first with an in game DJ. Sadly Tiesto, who was originally booked, had to withdraw due to a family emergency. Step forward American DJ Kaskade - who's playing nothing bangers. He's just dropped 'The Business' by Tiesto which got a nice reception from the crowd.

McCaffrey, McCaffrey and a bit more McCaffrey on this drive and Run CMC moves the sticks with a first down, before he takes a breather and Brock Purdy misses Deebo Samuel having had forever to throw.

There's no miss next time when again his O-line provide plenty of time for him to find former Chiefs wideout Chris Conley for the first down.

He's coughed up the fumble but Christian McCaffrey has also put up 38 yards on just five touches so far - he's looking like the man to make the difference so far.

A second and 27 becomes a third and 20 and San Francisco almost get it with a short pass to Deebo Samuel who muscles his way to just seven yards short.

They have to punt, but it's a huge high, hanging one - the chase is good and they pin the Chiefs back on their own 11 yard line.

This will not be a comfortable start for Patrick Mahomes.

Brilliant from Brock Purdy, scampering backwards to buy time before firing a dart to a wide open George Kittle for a first down - but the play comes back for a hold against San Francisco.

Brock Purdy is back on the field starting at his own 24 and immediately opens up with a dagger over the middle to Brandon Aiyuk for an 18-yard gain.

I imagine in this corner of Allegiant Stadium the US national anthem was sung rather beautifully in tune.

A fantastic run of scoring on their first drive in eight straight post-season games comes to an end as Kansas City have to punt it away following two big plays from the Niners defence.

They get eight yards on third down but there's no way Andy Reid wants to go for it on fourth down this early so they kick it away and San Francisco get away with that first turnover.

What an atmosphere. 49ers in possession and it's seems they have the majority of the fans inside the Allegiant Stadium. Then there's a turnover and Chiefs fans are like, hold on we are here too. Deafening!
