They've just announced running back Aaron Jones has been ruled out for the rest of the game in a blow for the Vikings.

Aaron Rodgers and the Jets offence are back out on the turf.

Sam Darnold throws to Ty Chandler for the third down.

The quarterback then can't find room for the pass and ends up throwing away for the fourth down.

We spoke to Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell before the game.On the Vikings unbeaten start, he told BBC Sport: "It's not something I had been through before, but I thought it was very important to do a couple of things. I wanted to authentically allow our team to feel the emotions they were feeling and to work through them. I did not want to ask them to put it out of their mind.

"The other thing was leading in the face of adversity. I needed to be the rock for our organisation, to be standing out front, but also showing some vulnerabilities, personally, so that guys knew that it was OK to be grieving and that we would work through this together."

And Connell, 39, believes the loss of Khyree Jackson has provided them with extra inspiration.

"I think so, because it's allowed us to focus and have a reality check of nothing is given. We understand how blessed and fortunate we are to do this on a daily basis because it can be taken away in a moment.

"So let's make sure we maximise every moment we have with one another, understanding how special a place this is, what the players have built here."

Greg Zuerlein kicks off for the New York Jets into the end zone for the touch back and Sam Darnold will lead the Vikings offence back out.

The players come back out into the increasing drizzle and we're almost ready to go for the second half as those drums sound again for the thunderclap from the Vikings fans.

There's a steady drizzle falling at Tottenham now which will slicken up the ball and make it a bit tougher in this second half.

Aaron Rodgers looks set to join some elite company today, as he looks to reach 60,000 passing yards in the NFL - something which only eight players before him have managed.

At half-time, Rodgers is just one yard short! So he should join the elite group on 60K in the second half.

And the names show you exactly what an achievement it is, as Rodgers would join Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, Brett Favre, Ben Roethlisberger, Philip Rivers, Matt Ryan and Dan Marino in reaching the landmark.

Well, that was one-way traffic until right at the end, but the Jets had all the momentum at the end and if the game was continuing you'd fancy them to get right back in it.

But it's something to build on, and something for the Vikings to think about over half-time.

We're set up for an intriguing second half.

Talk about a shot in the arm. Aaron Rodgers runs out of the pocket and fires a dart to Allen Lazard to get the Jets on the board.

One of the Jets' offensive linemen helps Rodgers back to his feet and gives him a bear hug, lifting him off his feet.

There are signs of life for the Jets. Just what they needed before the half-time break.

Rodgers punches the air and the Jets are jubilant. They'll be pumped heading back out for the third quarter. Game on!!

Two incompletions brings up third and 10 for the Jets...

Jets complete a first down and they're up to the 15-yard line with 48 seconds left on the clock.

A 35-yard return by Isiah Davis off the punt and the Jets are at the 31 and will surely get some sort of points return here.

The Vikings are backed up as we get towards the end of the half, with the Jets desperate to try and force some kind of mistake.

What a drive by the Vikings. CJ Ham, a fan favourite, a big, physical runner.

He does most of the blocking but down on the goal line is where you need him.

The Jets defence is under more pressure, you can see the holding calls because they're under man-to-man coverage.

They're being one-dimensional.

Aarond Rodgers goes down from a huge hit by Vikings safety Harrison Smith, who came flying in off the blindside totally unblocked.

Rodgers is slow to get up from that one, which isn't a surprise as Smith really laid it on him coming in at pace.

That was officially eight plays for 74 yards on the touchdown drive by Minnesota, but also helped by all those penalties in the red zone by the secondary.

Five total penalties for 42 yards for the Jets so far, but more than that it's the timing and placement of those before the score that just killed them.
