  7. A rare pick sixpublished at 15:16 British Summer Time 6 October

New York Jets 0-10 Minnesota Vikings

How rare is an Aaron Rodgers pick six? Well, you can fit everyone who's caught one against him in the back of a taxi.

As Rodgers had only thrown four of them before today - so Andrew van Ginkel is number five in that exclusive club.

Andrew van Ginkel, with his long, blonde hair bellowing behind him, looked every inch a Viking there, marauding down the sideline to run in that pick-six. And my word, the noise as he was roared into the endzone.

Now the Minnesota faithful are roaring again after ANOTHER interception. There's been a Viking invasion in north London.

New York Jets 0-10 Minnesota Vikings

That's the end of the first 15, and that was a fun one. You don't get to see a lot of Aaron Rodgers interceptions, and we've seen two and a pick six!

Minnesota's defence the star of the show so far, and Sam Darnold is well placed just inside the Jets half to try to extend this lead.

That's a second pick six of the season for Andrew van Ginkel after he also scored in the season opener against the New York Giants.

But I'm guessing one from Aaron Rodgers will probably mean more than one off Daniel Jones...

  14. 'Never a dull moment with the Vikings'published at 15:07 British Summer Time 6 October

Just another day in the life of the Vikings. They had a rollercoaster season in 2023, having to use four starting quarterbacks, and then Sam Darnold is forced to the sideline.

Nick Mullens comes in and nails a 24-yard pass to Aaron Jones, but Darnold comes back in for the next play and surrenders possession.

No matter, Andrew van Ginkel goes and pulls off a 63-yard pick-six. Never a dull moment with this lot.

Aaron Rodgers is intercepted by Andrew van Ginkel who takes it all the way to the house!

Van Ginkel was spying on Rodgers, who never saw him despite his long flowing locks, and he rose high to pluck the ball out of the air, then showed admirable endurance for a big man to run 63 yards for the touchdown.

The Vikings fans exploded on that play - that was loud!
