    Baltimore Ravens 19-21 Buffalo Bills

The third quarter ends with Khalil Shakir taking a catch and leaving a third down and about two when we return.

So just 15 minutes left for one of these to book their tickets to Kansas City, but who will it be?

Thumbs up for Buffalo, down for Baltimore...

  2. Second half game changerpublished at 01:45 Greenwich Mean Time

    Baltimore Ravens 19-21 Buffalo Bills

It was not surprising to see Derrick Henry click into action on that last drive.

In the regular season, his second-half yardage stats outstrip his numbers from the first two quarters.

He was quiet before the break tonight but exploded on that run.

The data below should give Baltimore Ravens fans plenty of encouragement.

We talked about the Ravens wanting to lean on their running game. That's what they needed to do, establish it, that's what got you here.

You get Derrick Henry running, get him pounding, it's tough. They wear you down, these two different backs with two different styles.

When Derrick Henry has over 90 yards rushing this season, he's 11-0. He starting to pick up momentum now. This is getting concerning right now if you're Buffalo.

If it ain't broke....So Baltimore feed Derrick Henry again in a short yardage situation and he makes no mistake in punching it in from five yards out.

Baltimore go for the two-point conversion to try and tie the game but Lamar Jackson's pass is deflected - but it was still a statement of intent from the Ravens.

It was the football equivalent of walking right up and punching Buffalo right in the mouth - and that drive will have sapped plenty of energy from the Bills defence.

  6. Ravens running riotpublished at 01:40 Greenwich Mean Time

    Baltimore Ravens 13-21 Buffalo Bills

Justice Hill and Derrick Henry are providing a one-two punch that is just beating this Bills defence into submission - thw two have pounded the rock all the way down to the Buffalo five.

    Baltimore Ravens 13-21 Buffalo Bills

Derrick Henry gets up a full head of steam and he comes thundering through the tackles on a third-and-one and powers away for 17 yards.

He almost took that all the way only to be tripped up by the last defender as he really was travelling!

A blow for the Buffalo Bills - safety Taylor Rapp has been ruled out with a hip injury.

He was the defender who intercepted Lamar Jackson in the first quarter.

  10. Bills puntpublished at 01:33 Greenwich Mean Time

    Baltimore Ravens 13-21 Buffalo Bills

Josh Allen fizzes the ball out in the blink of an eye as Buffalo set up a quick tight end screen but the Ravens read it and Dawson Knox is wrapped up and slammed down to force the punt.

Think the kids would call that getting thrown out the club...

The Bills fans make their feelings known about who should win MVP this year, and Josh Allen shows why with a nifty third down completion to Curtis Samuel to keep this latest drive alive.

Justin Tucker has had his problems this year but he's still one of the best kickers around, and strikes the ball beautifully to drill a 47-yarder to get the Ravens back to within a score.

If I'm Baltimore I put two tight ends in.

You don't know if we're going to run or throw, because both guys can catch the ball, and then Derrick Henry has a two-way go, inside, outside, right or left.

This is going to be a problem for Buffalo moving forward.

  15. Flag!published at 01:24 Greenwich Mean Time

    Baltimore Ravens 10-21 Buffalo Bills

Now here's a funny one - Baltimore don't get the play off in time and get flagged for a delay of game, but it does them a favour as the result of the play is a huge sack on Lamar Jackson for a big loss.

They also get to play the down again.

Baltimore actually gained more yards in the first half and had marginally more possession but that interception and fumble from Lamar Jackson has proved the difference so far.

I love the Ravens defensive adjustments out of half-time, they had a plan for the Bills' condenced formation. You bring the corner off the edge and blitz. The Chiefs do this all the time.

This is a tough assignment for the Ravens - the toughest assignment in the NFL in fact as the Bills won every game at home this season.

Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh has won more play-off games on the road than anyone else though with eight - so if anyone can engineer a victory it's him.

Harbaugh also led the Ravens to their last Super Bowl victory the last time the big game was held in New Orleans by the way... an omen?

Baltimore's defence was listening to John Harbaugh judging by that impressive defensive stop first up in the second half.

They also get a nice return on the punt to get up to around their own 40.
