Before the Eagles-Rams game, all the talk was about whether the Rams could stifle rushing leader Saquon Barkley after he had a career-best 255 rushing yards when the Eagles won at LA in November.

It's a similar case with this one as Derrick Henry rushed for a season-best of 199 yards as Baltimore beat Buffalo 35-10 in September, adding a rushing and receiving touchdown.

The veteran running back also had 186 rushing yards and two touchdowns in last week's wildcard win over Pittsburgh.

Sure, this is an MVP battle between the two quarterbacks, but the Bills need to find a way to deal with the Ravens' run game too. After all, we know how it ended with Barkley and the Rams earlier.

The Bills needed to go out there and show the Ravens that this is their home turf and they are here to make plays.

That is exactly what they did.

  3. touchdown

And there it is - Ray Davis gets his number called to take it in the final yard and score the touchdown - and he basically walks in there to level the game.

Two high-powered offences have come out flexing their muscles and this could quickly become a shootout.

  4. Red zonepublished at 23:58 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January

    Baltimore Ravens 7-0 Buffalo Bills

James Cook is fighting for yards down in the red zone and gets down to the Baltimore five-yard line. These two teams are the best two in the league at scoring touchdowns from the red zone so you'd expect the Bills to find paydirt from close range like this.

  5. First downpublished at 23:56 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January

    Baltimore Ravens 7-0 Buffalo Bills

Buffalo love to go for it on fourth down and the offence stays out there with two yards needed - and again Josh Allen keeps it himself.

This time there's no problem as he bursts through for a first down.

    Baltimore Ravens 7-0 Buffalo Bills

Third and short and Josh Allen keeps it as you'd expect, but Tavius Robinson pops up and tackles the Bills quarterback for the loss of a yard.

And Josh Allen is a bull of a man so tackling him is no easy task - great play.

  7. Big play Buffalo!published at 23:54 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January

    Baltimore Ravens 7-0 Buffalo Bills

Josh Allen facing third down goes for a big one and lands a 34-yard pass to Khalil Shakir who had ghosted into a soft zone behind the Ravens defence and that moves the chains down to the Baltimore 32.

    I love the opening script.

Lamar Jackson has got command of this offence.

And there it is! Lamar Jackson completes a 16-yard touchdown pass to Rashod Bateman who was all alone in the middle of the field to rise high to gether the catch and land in the end zone for the opening score of the game.

Some opening statement from Baltimore, and Jackson in particular - already some of his best ball in the play-offs just on that one series.

This is why this game is so hard to pick - they're both really balanced. They both can run it and throw it.

I think it's going to come down to who protects the football in these conditions and then who wants it.

Lamar Jackson is 1-1 in his two NFL play-off games on the road - but he's never thrown a touchdown pass...

  12. Huge play!published at 23:46 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January

    Baltimore Ravens 0-0 Buffalo Bills

Isaiah Likely races downfield to take in a massive 40-yard grab that puts the Ravens just on the cusp of the red zone. Lamar Jackson has the chance to do something here he's not done before in his career.

Throw a passing touchdown in a play-off game on the road.

I think Derrick Henry is the difference-maker in this game. Both quarterbacks almost cancel (each other) out because of how elite they are and how much they carry thier team. But if you're saying James Cook or Henry? Hands-down it's Henry.

  14. First downpublished at 23:44 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January

Cardinal sin by the Buffalo pash rush as they all end up running beyond Lamar Jackson and that means he can take off with acres in front of him to go and run for the first down.

Jackson looks pumped for this game as well.

Graphic showing how many MVP awards and Conference Championship appearances by Lamar Jackson

For all the talent Lamar Jackson has, he has won just three of his seven play-off games.

Last year was the first time he reached the AFC Championship game, let alone a Super Bowl.

So nearing the end of his seventh season in the NFL, he has more season MVP awards than Conference Championship appearances.

  16. Here we go!published at 23:43 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January

Baltimore get the ball first and out of the two star quarterbacks Lamar Jackson probably has the most to prove given his play-off performances so far in his career.

  17. Baltimore Ravens - story of the seasonpublished at 23:42 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January

Baltimore Ravens @ Buffalo Bills (23:30 GMT)

Baltimore narrowly lost to Kansas City in the opening game of the season before the Raiders left them 0-2, but new running back Derrick Henry then got rolling with 350 rushing yards in back-to-back wins over Dallas and Buffalo.

The Ravens then beat the Bengals in overtime during a five-game win streak, followed by a mixed run from week eight to 13, but since their bye week their defence has been dominant.

They helped Baltimore win their last four games of the season, and they finished with the league’s best rushing offence, averaging 187.6 yards per game.

  18. Buffalo Bills - story of the seasonpublished at 23:41 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January

After winning their first three games of the season, the Bills lost at Baltimore (35-10) and Houston (23-20).

They then gave their receiving corps a boost by trading for Amari Cooper and he helped the Bills go on a seven-game win streak. That included a 30-21 win over defending champions Kansas City to end their unbeaten record and some milestone performances from Josh Allen to send him clear as the MVP favourite.

The Bills were beaten 44-42 in a thriller at the Rams but bounced back to inflict just Detroit’s second loss of the season, and having secured the AFC’S number two seed, they rested some of their starters as they lost their final game of the regular season.

We've seen that Buffalo has been to the Super Bowl in the past, losing four times. Josh Allen - he is a legend - would go down with an amazing legacy if [they win the Super Bowl].
