That's the big play they needed!

Bo Nix throws the longest play of the game out to Marvin Mims and the Denver wideout runs down the line and eventually runs out of play after the Broncos make a 26-yard gain.

A rare bright moment for the Denver Broncos, there haven't been many recently.

Bo Nix fizzes a pass out wide to Evan Engram to get the first down on the 38.

On comes Austin McNamara for the Jets, are they going to sell the dummy again with just one yard needed to get the first down?

    The answer is no.

McNamara punts up field and they're not taking any risks with a little over 10 minutes of this match remaining.

Breece Hall gets the first down for the Jets with a nice run from deep.

The running back spins out of the challenge before driving forward to move chains.

Justin Fields then twice scrambles to give them 4th & 1.

New York are going to use their first timeout to assess this one on their own 25-yard line. They've already fooled the Broncos defence once...

That Jets possession comes to nothing and the ball goes back to the Broncos.

It's much the same story for Bo Nix and Denver before Jeremy Crawshaw punts long and Isaiah Williams catches before driving forward for 14 yards.

But his good work is undone for a penalty for holding and the ball is brought back 10 yards. Shame.

The Jets have the ball on the 10-yard line.

  7. Sack - Another one for Fieldspublished at 16:55 BST 12 October

After that huge let-off Justin Fields is caught out for the sixth time in this match.

He gets caught in a Jonathan Cooper and Justin Strnad that sees him lose his helmet.

That's a sack and a half for Cooper now for a loss of 12 yards for the Jets offence.

  8. Let-off for Jetspublished at 16:55 BST 12 October

Denver Broncos 10-11 New York Jets

Huge let-off there for the Jets as it's deemed an incomplete pass rather than a turnover. The officials felt Garrett Wilson didn't have full control of the ball before Pat Surtain II punched it out.

The Jets get it back on their own 28-yard line and it's 3rd & 6.

Justin Fields fizzes a pass into Garrett Wilson before he spills the ball as he's tackled by Pat Surtain II. Denver's Jonathon Cooper pounces on the loose ball and it's initially called as turnover but the play is now under review.

What a different game we're seeing now.

Denver making just three yards on the first three downs before calling out Jeremy Crawshaw to punt.

Bo Nix and his offence looked comfortable towards the end of the first half but they've created the square root of nothing since the restart.

Not only that but they've seen a four-point lead turn into a one-point deficit.

There's a woman in front of us holding a new-born baby in the air as she dances along to Mr Brightside.

Meanwhile, there's a cannon firing t-shirts into the crowd. This seems a recipe for disaster!

The baby has also been fitted out in a Patriots top, the poor thing.

We talk about anchoring down as an offensive line and contain the power rush, and this is why as idf you don't you'll end up on your back with a holding flag - and when that happens in the end zone that's a safety.

That is just a brilliant defensive play - and just what you need when you're struggling so much on offence.

  13. Sack - Loss of eight yards for the Jetspublished at 16:41 BST 12 October

Denver Broncos 10-11 New York Jets

The Jets have the ball and the lead after the safety but moments later it's a fifth sack of the day for Justin Fields!

Talanoa Hufanga getting in on the action.

That possession ultimately comes to nothing for the Jets and Bo Nix and the Broncos now have a chance to redeem themselves after that horror show a couple of minutes ago.

  14. Jets have stepped up on offence and special teamspublished at 16:40 BST 12 October

The Jets' offence still isn't firing, they've managed just 19 passing yards so far, but their defence and special teams unit have stepped up big today.

That's now two field goals and a safety they have earned, accounting for eight of their 11 points.

  15. Safety - New Yorkpublished at 16:36 BST 12 October

Denver Broncos 10-11 New York Jets

    Wow!

Out of nowhere the Jets have the lead in bizarre circumstances.

Bo Nix looks for Troy Franklin with a deep pass and it's incomplete but there are two flags against the offence.

Because one was a holding call in their own end zone it's a safety and the Jets find themselves in front.

Pat Surtain II showing exactly why he was defensive player of the year last season.

Justin Fields goes wide in search of Garrett Wilson on the left but the cornerback reaches across to just get his fingertips to the ball and nudge it out of play. A great intervention to stop the play.

That's it for the Jets as Austin McNamara punts up the field and the Broncos take the ball on the three-yard line.

Justin Fields powers over from one yard to get the first down as the Jets make slow but solid progress up the pitch.

That's their fourth first down of the third quarter - they only had two in the whole first half.

That last 2 minutes of the half from the Jets was a complete embarrassment.

    Jim, from Aberdeen

Jim's not happy with that final first-half drive from the Jets, and he's not the only one. Still, they could take the lead here...

The Broncos fail to move the chains after Bo Nix's pass to Jaleel McLaughlin is incomplete.

Back over to Justin Fields and the Jets, who have made a much brighter start to this half.

  20. Jets surpass offensive yards from first halfpublished at 16:22 BST 12 October

Denver Broncos 10-9 New York Jets

    Ben Collins
BBC Sport at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Although the Jets had to settle for a field goal again there, they managed more yards on that drive (37) than they managed in the entire first half (32).

It's a step in the right direction, but the Broncos will now be keen to get their run game going.
