Women's 100m final
Spare a thought for Luxembourg's Patrizia Van Der Weken. She finishes fourth, by a margin of 0.01 seconds from third.
She was 0.01 seconds from her country's first European medal.
Women's 100m final
The other British woman in the final, Amy Hunt, finished seventh.
She put in a brilliant semi-final performance to get this far, and should be proud of her showing in Rome.

Silver goes to Ewa Swoboda of Poland.
Bronze to Zaynbab Dosso of hosts Italy. That's a very popular one in the Olympic Stadium.

Dina Asher-Smith is European champion once again!

She got out the blocks really slowly, but powered through the final 50m to win it by a narrow marguin.

Brilliant stuff from Mageean, and that was experience.
She had real patience and was boxed for most of the race. She only found some daylight with about 80m to go.

Gold medals are like buses - you wait 26 years for one, then two come along at once!
Another gold medal at these championships for Ireland as Ciara Mageean finishes brilliantly to win gold by a distance.
Georgia Bell kept pace, and she picks up a silver for Britain.
Agathe Guillemot of France takes bronze. Jemma Reekie finishes fifth after a disappointing conclusion to that race.

Final lap!
Jemma Reekie is still out in front. The pace of this race has really suited those used to running shorter distances, as it gives them extra energy for the final sprint.

No pace makers, remember, so this is likely to be a tactical race.
It will be fascinating. I can’t see a natural front-runner in this field.
Women's 1500m final
Two laps to go.
Jemma Reekie leads, team mate Georgia Bell is on her shoulder.
Still anyone's race.
