He rearranges Harry Brook's stumps and finishes with 4-86.

  3. Eng 247-8published at 51 overs

Harry Brook is sticking with his strategy of turning down singles until the second half of the over to limit how many balls Josh Tongue has to face.

How long will India let him carry on like this? Unless they don't want to bat tonight.

It was a skittish start from Harry Brook.

We thought this could be a big day for him. He's scored fantastic runs, he's a world-class player but we thought with that top order gone, he'd be the guy to take England to that lead and increase it.

    He's played nicely.

Another three runs to England's total. Their lead is up to 22.

Chaos. Harry Brook tries to steal another two runs. There's a slip as they go for a second. The throw into the keeper is high and wild. They go again for a second. And pull out again. Help.

Harry Brook runs two and brings up his half-century off 57 balls.

He didn't make a fluid start and looked like getting out on more than a few occasions but he's settled down and is doing a job for England now.
