    Durham 190 v Worcs 100-6

    Durham firmly in control now.

Another change in bowling does the trick as Matthew Potts, replacing Ben Stokes, strikes with his second ball back.

He steams in and beats the defences Matthew Waites for pace and knocks back his off stump.

That's a second-ball duck. Nathan Smith joins Kashif Ali.

    Leics 179 v Middlesex 86

It's difficult to keep track in Division Two - soon be time to count how many have fallen on day one.

But we now have two games where both sides have been bowled out.

Matt Salisbury bowls Ethan Bamber for a duck and promotion-chasing Middlesex are bowled out for just 86 and concede a 93-run lead.

And now he's out. Game on here.

Jamie Smith shapes to smash Matt Critchley through mid wicket, misses with the shot and the ball canons into middle of off.

Time for Jordan Clark to bat.

  4. 200 partnershippublished at 18:04 30 June

    Hampshire 259-3 v Kent

Beautiful shot from James Vince. Grant Stewart offers a fraction of wide and Vince flays it through point for four.

The captain and Ben Brown have now put on 203 for this fourth wicket.

56-3 must feel like a long time ago now for Kent.

  5. 100 for Jamie Smithpublished at 18:03 30 June

    Surrey 202-5 v Essex

    Matt Critchley is on.

There it is! 100 in 132 balls with a single pushed to mid on for one.

14 fours and two sixes. What a player, celebrating in style after his call up to the England squad.

  6. First batting point for Lancspublished at 18:02 30 June

    Lancashire 259-6 v Notts

Olly Stone has switched to over the wicket to Keaton Jennings.

But he offers a bit of width and Jennings plays a terrific back-foot shot through the covers. That brings up the 250 and a first batting point.

And again, a lovely on-drive for another four.

And now a third! Very wide, but Jennings gets enough bat on it to send it to an empty third man.

Jennings pushes on to 126 not out.

  7. Postpublished at 18:01 30 June

    Surrey 201-5 v Essex

How expensive will that drop be?

Well, it will cost at least six runs as Jamie Smith swings Paul Walter over square leg.

Smith is back and across to Simon Harmer to push the spinner away for two and that takes Surrey to 200 in the 60th over.

He gets a single off the last ball to keep strike on 99.

  8. WICKET Brookes lbw b Raine 8published at 18:00 30 June

    Durham 190 v Worcs 99-5

This game is in the balance and it's difficult to say exactly who's on top from one hour to the next.

Ben Raine returns to the attack as Peter Siddle takes a breather - and the change brings instant rewards.

Ethan Brookes does not look impressed as a full ball from Raine pins him in front.

Perhaps he thinks it's a little high, but crucially umpire Surendiran Shanmugam didn't and Worcs are five down, 91 runs behind.

    Matthew Waite is next up.

  9. Smith dropped on 88published at 17:57 30 June

    Surrey 188-5 v Essex

Chance! Paul Walter finds the edge of Jamie Smith's bat on the drive and a sharp, high chance is missed by a diving Simon Harmer at slip.

He just might have got a fingertip to that.

    Very tough chance.

  10. First batting point for Hantspublished at 17:56 30 June

    Hampshire 250-3 v Kent

Ben Brown pushes one into the covers and gets through for one.

That is the 250 and a first batting point for Hampshire. It was the type of single that batters can get when they have got the fielding side on the back foot.

  11. 'Stobo has been the pick of the Kent bowlers'published at 17:54 30 June

    Kevan James
    BBC Radio Solent commentator

We were expecting this pitch to do a bit more, and maybe It would with more concentration from seamers - getting the balls in the right place.

Charlie Stobo has just about been the pick of the Kent bowlers today.

  12. Five-wicket haul for Ben Mikepublished at 17:53 30 June

    Leicestershire 179 v Middlesex 83-9

Ben Mike is the third Division Two bowler to grab five wickets today.

He bowls Leus du Plooy for 28, the last recognised batter in the Middlesex line-up to make it 5-20 off his 10 overs.

These are currently Mike's best ever first-class figures.

  13. 'Almost inevitable Smith will mark England call-up with a century'published at 17:53 30 June

    Surrey 187-5 v Essex

    Glenn Speller
    BBC Essex sport

Essex have got Jamie Porter and Eathan Bosch off the field but Paul Walter is filling-in well having taken a couple of wickets.

But at the moment it is Jamie Smith against what remains of the Essex attack.

Smith has just bludgeoned Paul Walter over long-on for four and it almost looks inevitable he will mark his England call-up with a century…

  14. 100 for Michael Burgesspublished at 17:53 30 June

    Somerset v Warwickshire 330-7

That's his second century of the season and his first since scoring 108 against Essex at Chelmsford in May.

He reaches the landmark driving Craig Overton down the ground for two.

146 balls with 10 fours and three sixes.

    Lancashire 237-6 v Notts

The 80 overs are up in Southport and Lancashire are the first batting team to have reached the second new ball today!

Keaton Jennings remains on 112 as Olly Stone gets first crack with the new cherry.

  17. Postpublished at 17:49 30 June

    Durham 190 v Worcs 92-4

Ben Stokes bangs one in short and Kashif Ali produces a lovely pull shot through square leg for his seventh boundary.

He has been shackled since resuming after the delay, but will feel better for that.

A single moves him to 42 and the deficit is down to less than 100 - 98 to be precise.

  18. Postpublished at 17:48 30 June

    Somerset v Warwickshire 322-7

The runs are flowing at Taunton.

That text has appeared a few times over the years!

Chris Woakes is forward to Craig Overton, glancing the bowler to square leg for four.

Migael Pretorius is on at the other end and the second ball of his over is fetched from off stump through mid wicket by Michael Burgess.

Four runs. He gets four more with a pull through square leg to move to 92 not out.

He guides the last ball behind square on the off side for one to keep the strike.

  19. Postpublished at 17:43 30 June

    Durham 190 v Worcs 83-4

Ben Stokes is bowling much better after tea and finds the outside edge of Ethan Brookes' bat.

Fortunately for the batter, it flies just past the diving Alex Lees at third slip and he picks up a single.

  20. Postpublished at 17:42 30 June

    Surrey 177-5 v Essex

Lovely shot from Jamie Smith, aiming a pull over long on for four runs.

Frustration for Paul Walter and for Essex.

The visitors have the added pressure of being without Jamie Porter this evening after the latter suffered a finger injury to his bowling hand in his last spell before leaving the field.

Smith gets a single off the third ball and Ryan Patel is off the mark after 14 balls with a back foot push through cover.
