As I mentioned a few minutes ago, we're off to South London tomorrow as Oval Invincibles face Trent Rockets in a double-header.

At 15:00 BST the women's sides will be looking to come back for defeat in their previous matches, while it's a top of the table contest in the men's game, which follows at 18:30.

Northern Superchargers' captain Harry Brook speaking on Sky Sports: "We've spoken a lot about trying to take wickets throughout and use the dimensions as a bowling group, and I think we used the dimensions perfectly tonight. We didn't take as many wickets as we wanted to but we used the dimension to our advantage.

"We've got two home games to finish. We've had a good record at Headingley so hopefully we can get one more run than the other teams."

On Adil Rashid and Mitchell Santner: "We saw last year, if two spinners can bowl as well as they've done at Headingley, they can bowl anywhere."

On Santner in particular: "He's world class. He has a stop in his actions where he can almost see what you're going to do before you do it."

On the quick bowlers: "We didn't get the wickets tonight but I was really impressed with the way they kept trying to get those wickets."

On the batting order: "I've batted number four for England so i just want to get more experience in that situation."

Harry Brook has finished not out in six successful run chases in the men's Hundred, the joint most for a player alongside Liam Livingstone and Sam Billings.

  4. ''It was an all round performance'published at 21:13 BST 20 August

Northern Superchargers' opener Zak Crawley speaking on Sky Sports: "An important game for us to get a win. We are very pleased and it was an all round performance."

On his gameplay: "I try to keep the fundamentals the same but I anticipate more shots than I do in a red-ball game. That's what I have done differently this year and it has paid off."

On the batting team behind him: "There are great players coming behind you so I knew I could be a bit freer at the top. It got harder after the powerplay so it's nice to have the cushion of the boys coming in after you.

"I am surprised Adil Rashid is not stood here, he bowled brilliantly. It got easier under the lights and we are really pleased."

Northern Superchargers stay third after that eight-wicket win, but are now level on points with the two sides above them having played a game more.

The table leaders are Oval Invincibles and Trent Rockets, and they play each other tomorrow, before the Superchargers take on the former at Headingley on Saturday.

London Spirit remain in seventh with two wins from six.

Easy as you like, Harry Brook slashes the ball to the boundary. All round, that was an excellent team performance from the Northern Superchargers.

    And that's that!

Ashton Turner, rather unluckily, gets a bowl with three runs required.

Zak Crawley takes a single to put Harry Brook on strike, and the skipper smacks the next delivery through long-on for four.

Brook walks off with nine from three deliveries, Crawley with 55 from 38.

That innings sees Crawley fly up the tournament's leading run-scorers chart from joint ninth at the start of the match to lead from Liam Livingstone.

Smart batting from Harry Brook. He used the pace of Gleeson so well on the ball.

No shot surprises me when Harry Brook is at the crease.

Captain Harry Brook is the new batter for Superchargers and he's going to have fun in his cameo appearance.

Zak Crawley's second fifty in this year's Hundred competition. He only managed one half-century in his 11 Hundred games in Spirit colours.

That epitomises what a free hit is. Crawley got down onto one knee and said thank you very much.

    50 up with a six!

That was well held by Sean Dickson. A few balls have gone high into the sky tonight but he makes no mistake there.

Lawrence will be frustrated with that but he has got his team into a superb position.

A consolation wicket for London Spirit.

Dan Lawrence won't see the Superchargers home - he sticks his bat under a Richard Gleeson bouncer, trying to ramp it out over the ropes at third.

Instead it flies to Sean Dickson at deep point.

Liam Dawson is not happy at all with that ball, it was flying absolutely miles.

The Superchargers are having fun and these are desperate times for the Spirit.

Northern Superchargers’ Adil Rashid speaking on Sky Sports: I thought we bowled exceptionally well to restrict them to 136. The seamers set the tone, and it was nice we squeezed them in the middle. We didn’t get the wickets we wanted but we kept it quite tight. We were being clever with the field and what we were bowling on this pitch, so I think we’ll be quite happy with that.

On getting David Warner out so early: He’s a world class player. He’s proven that over the years. It was good to get him early. The start we wanted.

On bowling at the far end: It’s what the captain wanted. We’ve got our plans. When we’re bowling from the far end, we bowl it a bit wider, a bit slower. We also look to target the stump to try get a wicket. It wasn’t meant to be today in terms of the wickets, but we kept them tight and restricted them to 136.

On how he would describe Harry Brook as a captain: He’s fearless. He goes on gut feeling quite a bit. He’s quite rogue in the sense of field placing. He likes trying new things and it's been working for England and Northern Superchargers. He always thinks positive, always looking for wickets.

On what’s different this year in the Hundred: The scores this year have been fairly low. Last year we had 180s, 190s, even 200s. Maybe the wickets have been a bit on the slower side all over the country.

That's the hundred up for the visitors.
