Sajid Khan's chin is still bleeding a little but that's not going to stop him. You'd have to tie him down in the dressing room to stop him being on the field, I bet.

Where’s Dan in Yorkshire today? I’ve got a feeling we’ll need him to take his car to the garage again.

Would England fans like a stat to boost morale?

They have actually won more Tests than they have lost in the Bazball era when batting first and conceding a first-innings lead.

They were 190 runs behind, far more than this 77, in Hyderabad this year and won.

There are 14 overs left in the day - enough for England to all but lose this match but not enough for them to win it.

We'll be struggling with the light from about 13:10 BST, I reckon.

    Now the Test really starts.

    Thanks Sam.

Pakistan's first-innings advantage of 79 proved decisive in the second Test last week.

Will this lead of 77 be the same?

It was all looking so good for England with Pakistan 177-7.

The tourists had a first-innings lead within their grasp but then Saud Shakeel joined forces with Noman Ali and then Sajid Khan for crucial eighth and ninth-wicket stands.

So it's Pakistan leading by 77 runs going into a treacherous third innings for England.

To see how they get on in the last hour of the day, it's over to Matthew Henry.

Zahid Mahmood got the googly and had no idea how to play it.

Pakistan end the innings with the score that England wanted.

    Googly through the gate. Brilliant.

Rehan Ahmed wraps it up in fine style with a beauty to dismiss Zahid Mahmood first ball.

The ball ripped back to hit the top of off. Just how the England man would have pictured it.

Pakistan are in a strong position, though, leading by 77 on first innings.

Rehan Ahmed invited him and Sajid Khan took it, what a monster blow.

Sajid Khan has hit a huge six, What a shot.

That beats anything that I've seen from England.

Sajid Khan is going for it again!

Last wicket, up against the leg-spin of Rehan Ahmed and he dances down and hits a towering six back over the bowler's head.

Saud Shakeel's teammates absolutely appreciate the position that he has put them in.

What a funny dismissal that is.

Strange end to a glamorous innings, Saud Shakeel has done absolutely what his team needed him to.

    Gus Atkinson makes the breakthrough.

The end of a brilliant innings from Saud Shakeel and a slightly odd way for him to go.

Atkinson banged one in short, the pitch is so slow Shakeel had time to pick where he wanted to smash it but was caught in several minds.

The result is the ball popping up to sub fielder Matthew Potts at short mid-wicket.

Watching from my home here in France. For me, if England want to win this game they need to calm their batting down a bit and just go at three runs an over rather than trying to eat into Pakistan's lead quickly. There are still three days left and going a bit slower might help with making a big score.

Change of approach for England as Gus Atkinson is reintroduced to the attack.

Can the seamer break this impressive 68-run stand?

The first time Saud Shakeel has looked uncomfortable in a while as Jack Leach turns one back sharply.

The Pakistan left-hander had played back, was hit on the back pad but there was an inside edge.

Unfortunately for England, despite the ball looping up, it lands safely.

Saud Shakeel's performance hasn't been exciting but it's been professional.

He's done what England should've done yesterday.
