  1. Pak 330-8published at 94 overs

    Sajid 39, Shakeel 131

Pakistan have put the big shots away but with the field now spread, the runs are still coming easily enough.

The concern for England is that they haven't looked like threatening this pair.

For those desperately seeking a silver lining, perhaps that's good news going into their second innings?

  2. India take fifth wicket but New Zealand in controlpublished at 11:58 British Summer Time 25 October

In Pune, India have their fifth wicket but are right up against it against New Zealand.

The Black Caps are 192-5 in their second innings, leading by 295.

If you missed it earlier, India were dismissed for just 156 in reply to New Zealand's 259 with Mitchell Santner taking seven wickets.

Spin has continued to dominate with Washington Sundar taking four of India's five wickets in this innings.

Tom Latham made 86 at the top of the order while Tom Blundell remains on 28 not out.

India lost the first Test so defeat here would condemn the hosts to their first home series lost since 2012-13.

  3. Pak 328-8published at 93 overs

    Lead by 61

Couple of good balls from Jack Leach, beating Sajid Khan twice in a row as he plays tentatively outside off stump.

Saud Shakeel keeps going with a minimum of fuss, driving for two more.

Every run just ramps up the pressure on England that much more going into the third innings.

Sajid Khan has to be player of the series. His aggression and fight has ignited Pakistan and is exactly what they have been missing during their winless run. Sensational moustache also.

This has been a remarkable passage of play from Pakistan.

  6. Pak 324-8published at 92 overs

    Lead by 57

Back under way and Sajid Khan, in a fresh new, dazzling white shirt, plays out a couple of dot balls to end the over.

Pakistan have scored over 50 runs since tea.

  8. Pak 324-8published at 91.4 overs

    Lead by 57

We've got a delay as Sajid Khan attempts to scoop Rehan Ahmed and gets a top-edge straight into his chin.

His shirt is very quickly covered in claret so he's going to need a bit of attention and a new shirt as well.

  9. Pak 323-8published at 91 overs

    Lead by 56

Given how little the ball has done for the seamers, Jack, I don't think not bowling is much of an issue personally.

Captaincy wise, this is a rare occasion when Ben Stokes has looked out of ideas.

Sajid Khan keeps going with a fabulous inside-out shot over extra cover for four.

Jack: Pakistan well on top here. Stokes hasn’t been that proactive either. Seems a bit melancholy in general with his changes, fields etc. Also, he hasn’t bowled. If he isn’t fit to bowl, that’s a concern.

  11. Pak 317-8published at 90 overs

    Lead by 50

Another tidy over with Rehan Ahmed conceding just two from it.

Having smashed Pakistan up to an already handy lead, Sajid Khan seems happy to take a step back and wait for his moment now.

Sajid Khan is being really clever. He's attacked Shoaib Bashir because he knows he can hit it out of the ground and England have been forced to change their bowler.

He knows he can't do the same with Jack Leach so he's calmed it down.

Change of bowling. Here comes Rehan Ahmed. Can the wrist spinner wrap this innings up for England?

  18. Pak 315-8published at 89 overs

    Lead by 48

A single brings up the fifty partnership in quick time and Sajid Khan is batting very sensibly here.

With Jack Leach turning the ball away from him, the right-hander is not on the charge.

    Just two from the over.

It will be interesting to see how Sajid Khan takes this on now, he's been attacking Shoaib Bashir but it will be higher risk against Jack Leach.

  20. Pak 313-8published at 88 overs

    Lead by 46

Pakistan's lead is almost at 50 as 19 come off the Shoaib Bashir over.

It is all going the home side's way too with Sajid Khan top-edging a slog-sweep to end the over.

The ball goes a long way up again but this time lands perfectly between the fielders rushing to try and take the catch.
