Out of nowhere England have their fourth wicket - and it's the partnership breaker, and difference maker, that's done it. Ben Stokes, of course.

I think both football and cricket should follow rugby with an independent doctor to assess injuries. If doctor says it's serious enough, then a runner could be allowed.

The runner brings such chaos to the game. They come out, don't know where to stand, it's entertaining.

You should get the opposition coach to be the runner.

My solution for the runner issue is that the fielding team can pick someone from the batting team to be the runner. Then, they could pick the slowest player and it makes it fair.

Joe Root continues. India happy to milk him for singles.

Of course when Rishabh Pant returns to bat he will not be able to do so without a runner.
