  1. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 72 balls

    Tryon c Beaumont b David 8 (Brave 74-5)

Another wicket as soft as you'll see. Chloe Tryon chips straight into the hands of Tammy Beaumont at mid-wicket and has an expletive or two to say to herself as she walks off.

  2. Brave 72-4published at 70 balls

Shabnim Ismail is wearing some spectacular golden sunglasses today. You've got to have a bit about you to pull them off and she does.

Hayley Matthews now has nine wickets at an average of 13 against left-handers in The Hundred. No bowler has taken more.

  4. Brave 71-4published at 66 balls

The introduction of Shabnim Ismail's pace brings runs as Georgia Adams flicks to mid-wicket for four.

  5. Brave 67-4published at 65 balls

Generally speaking, you want a score well above 130 here to be confident. That looks a fair way off after what has been a struggle so far.

Danni Wyatt-Hodge has 681 runs at the Utilita Bowl across The Hundred’s history with seven 50+ scores. This is more than double the number of 50s of any other player at a particular ground.

  7. Brave 61-4published at 60 balls

Matthews spoils her over a little by firing the final ball down the leg side. A tickle off the bat of Tryon means it's four runs to fine leg.

Katie Levick, who has 1-5 from 10 balls, returns.

Georgia Adams emerges rather than Sophie Devine so I think we can confidently say this is a plan to give others time in the middle before Sunday's final.

That delivery was far too full to be playing that shot. Freya Kemp needed to come forward and hit down the ground.

Two new batters at the crease is a great opportunity to squeeze for Welsh Fire.

  10. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 56 balls

    Kemp b Matthews 18 (Brave 56-4)

Southern Brave's unbeaten record is in danger here. Freya Kemp is the next to go as she attempts a pull to Hayley Matthews spin.

It's too full for the shot. Kemp is bowled.

  11. Brave 56-3published at 55 balls

    Kemp 18, Tryon 2

Still no Sophie Devine for the Brave. They have sent in Chloe Tryon.

Are they trying to give her time in the middle? Maybe.

What a soft dismissal. Danni Wyatt-Hodge had done the hard work and was starting to look fluent.

It was a loose delivery and her eyes lit up but all she did was spoon it up to the fielder - it was like catching practice.

What a cheap way to get out.

  14. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 51 balls

    Wyatt-Hodge c Jonassen b Levick 24 (Brave 53-3)

Short, wide and slapped to backward point by Danni Wyatt-Hodge. There's no wonder Katie Levick is laughing. She's got a wicket with a long hop.

A tough chance for Georgia Davis. She is normally good in the field but she just had to dive too far to the side.

  16. dropped catch

Kemp dropped on 16published at 50 balls

This one should have been taken.

Freya Kemp has middled a sweep but it was straight to Georgia Davis at square leg.

    Kemp gets a life.

A good thing about this format is you can catch up quickly.

Freya Kemp could have got caught up in the scoreboard but instead she has given herself the opportunity to face a few more deliveries and now she is a run a ball .

  18. Brave 50-2published at 45 balls

    Wyatt-Hodge 22, Kemp 16

Four more to Kemp, although this one is a glove on the sweep over the head of the keeper.

Kemp has really impressed with the bat during this tournament, although largely as a finisher. This is a different job.

  19. Brave 41-2published at 41 balls

Pumped down the ground from Freya Kemp.

    That may get her going.

A nice shot from Danni Wyatt-Hodge. She waited for it this time and took a step back into her crease.

She timed that lovely and has looked much more fluent than anyone else today.
