  1. WICKET Organ c Burgess b Barnard 23published at 17:23 23 June

    Warwks v Hants 284-8

Heartbreak for Felix Organ, who was batting fluently for most of his innings today.

He's forward and slightly across to defend against Ed Barnard and offers a thin edge through to the keeper Michael Burgess.

The new batter is Kyle Abbott.

  2. 50 for Olly Stonepublished at 17:21 23 June

    Notts 278-7 v Somerset

    Olly StoneImage source, Rex Features

Olly Stone is playing a gem of an innings here, moving serenely through the 40s with a front-footed clip in front of square leg for four off Jake Ball.

He gets a couple more runs off the over to move to 46.

He gets to his third career 50 in the next over in 89 balls with his eighth four, driving Craig Overton through cover point.

  3. WICKET Lyth b Dale 129published at 17:20 23 June

    Yorks 322-2 v Gloucs

Both Yorkshire openers are gone following that huge stand.

Ajeet Singh Dale whistles one through the defences of Adam Lyth, who leaves a big gap between bat and pad as he tries to drive.

He hit a six and 14 fours in his 243-ball knock - another fine effort for the left-hander.

  4. Division Two updatepublished at 17:20 23 June

Andy Gorvin has his third wicket of the day for Glamorgan, having Liam Patterson-White caught at point for 30, and Northants are 236-8.

John Simpson has advanced to 136 not out and Sussex are 330-6 in the 76th over against Leicestershire at Hove.

  5. Postpublished at 17:18 23 June

    Warwks v Hants 284-7

Craig Miles is too full and Felix Organ clips the ball away for four.

Organ drives and there's a diving stop by Oliver Hannon-Dalby, who pauses to stretch his right leg. He seems untroubled, though.

Organ is forward and across to Miles and leaves outside off.

He gets away with a play and miss next ball but survives the over with a single guided into cover.

  6. 50 for Ryan Higginspublished at 17:16 23 June

    Middlesex 219-6 v Derbys

    Ryan HigginsImage source, Rex Features

There are quite a few players enjoying very solid seasons with the bat and Ryan Higgins is one of them.

He reaches 50 off 107 balls with a single - it's his fifth half-century of the 20024 Championship, and he converted three of the previous four into hundreds.

Middlesex would love another one from him in this match.

  7. WICKET Garrett b Lyon 3published at 17:13 23 June

    Kent 236-9 v Lancashire

Nathan Lyon, as you would expect from a bowler of his class, is tearing through the Kent tail.

George Garrett is his third victim, utterly deceived by the Aussie's magical spin that dislodges the stumps, and Kent are in real danger of missing out on any batting points.

  8. Postpublished at 17:13 23 June

    Notts 265-7 v Somerset

More runs for the Notts tail as Calvin Harrison is forward to Jake Ball, cutting through cover for four runs.

He keeps the strike with a single off the last ball and gets a thick outside edge that lands safely off Craig Overton at the other end.

A frustrating maiden over for Somerset.

  9. 50 for Dan Lawrencepublished at 17:11 23 June

    Worcs v Surrey 278-4

    Dan LawrenceImage source, Rex Features

Back to back fours carry Dan Lawrence to 50 from 66 balls at New Road.

The first is stroked through the covers off the front foot, and the second steered away square off the back.

Quality batting - and he may soon be joined by partner Ben Foakes, who is 44 not out.

  10. 'It's a rare duck for Matt Parkinson'published at 17:11 23 June

    Kent 235-8 v Lancashire

    Ben Watts
    BBC Radio Kent

Luke Wells was causing Matt Parkinson a bit of bother in that over and the final delivery of it had bought about another wicket for the visitors.

It's a rare duck for Matt Parkinson, he's only got one other against Surrey. He's generally batted really well in red ball cricket.

  11. 100 for Durham's Robinsonpublished at 17:09 23 June

    Essex v Durham 365-4

Ollie Robinson celebrates his 100 for DurhamImage source, Rex Features

Ollie Robinson becomes Durham's second century-maker of the day.

He's now equalled Alex Lees' 113.

In the meantime, Essex bowler Jamie Porter seems to be getting a telling-off from the umpires, presumably for something he said.

The fact his over just went for 16 might have something to do with his annoyance.

  12. Postpublished at 17:08 23 June

    Warwks v Hants 273-7

A trio of fours for Felix Organ in the Ed Barnard over.

He's not really a number nine, you know!

He isn't really to the pitch of deliveries wide of off, but connects with the sweet spot of the bat to punch two through cover for four.

The last four is more of a controlled edge but four nonetheless.

  13. New ball taken at Trent Bridgepublished at 17:06 23 June

    Notts 260-7 v Somerset

It will be taken by acting Somerset captain Craig Overton, who is stepping up in place of the injured Lewis Gregory.

Plenty of lift outside off stump but there's enough width for Olly Stone to leave the ball.

The last through balls are all driven safely into the off side without clearing the field. Maiden over.

Jake Ball will come into the attack from the other end.

  14. WICKET Parkinson lbw b Wells 0published at 17:04 23 June

    Kent 231-8 v Lancashire

Matt Parkinson pays for a moment of hesitancy from the final ball of Luke Wells' second over.

This is now becoming a question of whether Kent can get to 250 for a batting bonus point.

  15. 50 for Kent's Muyeyepublished at 17:04 23 June

    Kent 231-7 v Lancashire

Excellent effort from Zimbabwean-born all-rounder Tawanada Muyeye to keep Kent in with a sniff.

But he's not being helped by his team-mates too much...

  16. WICKET Bean c Akhter b van Buuren 164published at 17:03 23 June

    Yorks 307-1 v Gloucs

    Finlay BeanImage source, Rex

....next ball, Finlay Bean is gone.

The left-hander square cuts again, but this time fails to get on top of it and Zaman Akhter takes the catch at point.

Bean batted for just over five hours, faced 250 balls and hit six sixes and 18 fours.

What an innings - but he falls just nine runs short of his highest score.

  17. 300 partnership for Yorkshirepublished at 17:01 23 June

    Yorks 307-0 v Gloucs

That's too short from Ollie Price and Finlay Bean pulls it away for four as the Yorkshire total passes 300.

Graeme van Buuren will bowl the next and Bean cuts him away for four, but......

  18. Postpublished at 17:00 23 June

    Notts 259-7 v Somerset

Normal service resumes for Jack Leach, who bowls another maiden over - his sixth in 11.

Somerset have turned to the occasional leg spin of Andy Umeed, who concedes a couple and nearly offers a catch to Craig Overton at slip.

Very sharp and very low chance though. That's 79 bowled and Somerset will probably take the new cherry straight away after the Jack Leach over.

  19. Second batting point for Sussexpublished at 16:59 23 June

    Sussex 300-6 v Leics

Josh Hull overpitches and John Simpson makes no mistake as he finds the mid-wicket boundary.

Hull responds with a bouncer which flies over the keeper for four byes - and it's also a no-ball, so it costs Leicestershire six.

  20. Postpublished at 16:59 23 June

    Worcs v Surrey 258-4

Worcestershire decide to try something different and call up Ethan Brookes for his first bowl of the day.

His first delivery is too full and Dan Lawrence flicks it away unerringly for four.

There's another boundary in the over, driven straight past mid-on, as Lawrence progresses to 39 not out.
