  2. Leach put to the sword as Notts reach 250published at 16:56 23 June

    Notts 257-7 v Somerset

Jack Leach has hardly conceded a run in this session and now he's gone four eight in one over.

Olly Stone is forward to the spinner, turning the ball through mid on for four to get the eight-wicket partnership to 50 in 150 balls and two balls later slog sweeps for four more.

One over later, Kasey Aldridge over steps and the no ball takes Notts to their first batting point in the 77th over.

four more runs to Stone clipped in front of square leg off Kasey Aldridge.

Finlay Bean has converted five of his nine 50s to date into centuries, which is a very good rate for an opening bat. How highly do you rate him Yorkshire fans? Get in touch and let us know.

  4. Division Two updatepublished at 16:54 23 June

Northants have so far managed to keep Glamorgan at bay since tea and are 226-7 in the 29th over, with Liam Patterson-White 24 not out.

John Simpson is now 117 not out for Sussex, who are 289-6 after 69 against Leicestershire at Hove.

Just four byes from the latest Sam Conners over at Lord's where Middlesex are 206-6 against Derbyshire, with Ryan Higgins on 43.

  5. Postpublished at 16:54 23 June

    Essex v Durham 339-4

If Essex were hoping the dismissal of Alex Lees would chasten Durham, they have been mistaken.

Colin Ackermann has only scored on four of the 14 balls he's faced - but they've all gone to the boundary.

  6. WICKET Dawson b Hannon-Dalby 46published at 16:51 23 June

    Warwks v Hants 255-7

Liam Dawson plays Oliver Hannon-Dalby into the off side for one.

He's on 46. One more to Barker glanced to square leg.

Out! That seemingly came out of nowhere.

Liam Dawson is forward to OHD and gets an inside edge onto his stumps. A fraction of movement into the bat there.

    Felix Organ is in next.

  7. 'Good day with bat for Durham'published at 16:51 23 June

    Durham 325-4 v Essex

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

The atmosphere seemed really flat after tea and Essex appeared to be in no hurry in the field either. There were lots of discussions in between deliveries.

There was also a ball change. The second of the innings. And there wasn't much noise in the stands. In the warmth of Chelmsford it appeared to be a good time for an afternoon nap. Maybe the lack of a wicket was having an effect?

However they have managed to get one now, with Alex Lees lbw to Matt Critchley for 113. That ended a partnership with Ollie Robinson for fourth wicket of 136. Robinson remains out there on 84.

It's generally been a good day with the bat for Durham after they won the toss. Until Lees perished, only one wicket had fallen since lunch and that was when David Bedingham was out for 65 in the 40th over. The Lees wicket came in the 73rd.

  8. Dropped catchpublished at 16:50 23 June

    Worcs v Surrey 249-4

Ben Foakes miscues a pull shot off Adam Finch, on 31, but Matthew Waite can't hang onto the chance at square leg.

He also gives up a single as Surrey collect their first batting point.

  9. 150 for Finlay Beanpublished at 16:47 23 June

    Yorks 287-0 v Gloucs

Beau Webster tries a slower ball but it's a wide one too and Finlay Bean steers into the covers where a mis-field allows him a single and he reaches 150 from 236 balls.

There are four overs to go before the new ball is due and Gloucestershire must feel like throwing this old one into the sea.

  10. 50 stand for Surreypublished at 16:46 23 June

    Worcs v Surrey 246-4

Dan Lawrence squeezes Adam Finch away square for four as he and Ben Foakes bring up a 50 partnership from 86 balls.

Having 'gone aerial' in Shoaib Bashir's previous over, Ben Foakes does so again and this time clears the rope at mid-wicket.

    Six of the best.

  11. Postpublished at 16:46 23 June

    Notts 239-7 v Somerset

Another maiden from Jack Leach - his fifth out of nine overs.

Olly Stone misses a flashing stroke wide of off stump, facing Kasey Aldridge.

He gets hold of that one though, driving through the off side for four.

Stone will keep the strike with a single pushed into the off side.

The new ball is due in five overs and a first batting point is a tantalising 11 runs way.

  12. Postpublished at 16:42 23 June

    Worcs v Surrey 230-4

Hmmm - Ben Foakes didn't get anywhere near the pitch of the ball, but still lofts Shoaib Bashir back over his head for four.

Bashir pensively strokes his chin, probably thinking that just a small bit of turn there could have led to a stumping.

  13. Batting point for Hampshirepublished at 16:41 23 June

    Warwks v Hants 250-6

Just a touch of width, back of a length from Oliver Hannon-Dalby and Keith Barker guides the ball away through backward point for two.

That's the 250 in the 68th over and a first batting point.

  14. WICKET Lees lbw b Critchley 113published at 16:40 23 June

    Essex v Durham 314-4

That's the big one for Essex.

Centurian Alex Lees is trapped lbw by Matt Critchley's spin.

But Lees has put Durham into a hugely strong position.

  15. DIvision Two updatepublished at 16:39 23 June

An early wicket in the final session at Lord's as Zak Chappell has Middlesex's Jack Davies caught behind for one.

The left-hander did no more than push forward in defence, but the angle of the delivery found the edge and Chappell now has 2-29.

Luke Hollman joins Ryan Higgins, who is 40 not out.

  16. Postpublished at 16:39 23 June

    Notts 234-7 v Somerset

Kasey Aldridge is trying to bounce Olly Stone out here as the Notts tail-ender and fast bowler sways out of the way at the last moment.

    He'll remember that. Maiden over.

  17. Postpublished at 16:37 23 June

    Warwks v Hants 248-6

Four more runs to Keith Barker, forward to Oliver Hannon-Dalby and driving through cover.

OHD beats Barker outside off to end the over.

Chris Woakes is just back of a length outside off until the fourth ball which is shorter and dabbed away by Liam Dawson for two.

Woakes is getting some swing here as Dawson leaves one that carries on curving away in the air after passing the bat.

  18. Postpublished at 16:36 23 June

    Worcs v Surrey 225-4

Exquisite hands by Dan Lawrence, who leaves it as late as possible to play the ball and runs Adam Finch down to third man for four.

A couple of singles end the over and he is 24 not out, with Ben Foakes on 18.

  19. 300 up for Durhampublished at 16:33 23 June

    Essex v Durham 300-3

A second batting point for Durham is sealed.

Alex Lees on an unbeaten 112, Ollie Robinson 70no. The partnership up to 124.

  20. Postpublished at 16:32 23 June

    Notts 233-7 v Somerset

Maiden from Jack Leach, bowling a tight line with good flight.

Craig Overton has taken himself off after bowling one over in the session and Kasey Aldridge is back on.

His second ball is wide, driven and edged just a whisker past a diving gully for four runs. Close.

Aldridge needs one more for five scalps.
