Another fine catch from Harry Brook. It wasn't a great ball from Rashid, short, dragged down. Jangoo could have sent it anywhere but he sent it right into Brook's hands.

Something that a lot of teams struggle with is someone who can take wickets through the middle overs, other than spinners. This is what Harry Brook wants from his seamers in this middle section and what Jamie Overton is doing well.

If we can’t choose a winner for best soup will it go to a souper-over?

100 up for West Indies but their innings is fizzling out.

The required rate is above nine an over.

Chase looked uncomfortable with the last few balls. They were not what he was expecting and the little bit of extra bounce and pace from Overton meant it came off the top of the bat more than he hoped.

Chase did not look comfortable against a shorter ball from Overton. The trap that Harry Brook set has worked.

Jacks makes comfortable catch at deep sqaure leg to dismiss Chase

Jamie Overton has troubled Roston Chase a couple of times with the short ball and this time it brings the wicket, Will Jacks taking a good catch in the deep.

Singles aren't going to be enough for the West Indies but they have to build a partnership from somewhere.

Roston Chase and Amir Jangoo trade six singles to welcome Adil Rashid into the attack on his 150th ODI outing.

For the record, I think Shivnarine Chowderpaul is my favourite soup entry so far. Congratulations Paul.

Favourite soup? Can never decide between Cook-a-leekie or Shivnarine Chowderpaul...

Jamie Overton concedes six runs and burns England's final review on his return to the attack.

And now it's time for Adil Rashid.

Another unsuccessful review from England. Surely they can't have any left now?

Is there a bit of glove on this? It was short, going down the leg-side and Chase went to pull it. There was a deflection but that could be from the hip, not necessarily the gloves.

  16. Postpublished at 18:56 British Summer Time 29 May

Is it off Roston Chase's glove or is it his hip?

  17. England reviewpublished at 15.3 overs

    Harry Brook loves a review.

Jamie Overton is the latest bowler to launch a convincing appeal for caught behind.

A very long way to go for West Indies. It feels like a forgone conclusion but I still want to see them have a go and not just play 50 overs, for playing 50 overs.

  19. WI 85-5published at 15 overs

Edgbaston, bathed in the evening sunshine, looks absolutely lovely.

Roston Chase gives the West Indies fans something to cheer, getting underneath a short delivery from Jacob Bethell and dispatching it for four. But it's a long, long way back for the tourists.

A diving catch by Harry Brook confirms the end of Jewel Andrew! I am sure we will see more of him in the years to come but he has to walk today.
