Jacob Bethell held that one a little back in his hand and Andrew was beaten so one of his hands was off the bat. The catches on show today mean you can't put anything aerially without it being caught.

Jacob Bethell has a wicket to go with his half-century but it's all about the catch from Harry Brook. His first two today were simple but this time he has to put in a full-length dive to his left to claim the catch. Sharp fielding.

Jewel Andrew has to depart for eight. West Indies are five down.

Almost a catch at leg gully, not too far away from Ben Duckett. Harry Brook has certainly set some funky, non-traditional fields today.

    Target 401

Aside from the three wides, this has been a good performance with the ball from Saqib Mahmood.

Still no sign of Adil Rashid as Harry Brook opts to stick with Jacob Bethell.

Jewel Andrew lofts England's brightest talent out of the ground for six. Two futures of international cricket going head-to-head here...

  9. drinks break

    WI 77-4published at 13 overs

    Target 401

Jacob Bethell is back in the attack and after four good deliveries, he can only watch on with everyone else as Jewel Andrew thwacks him for a quite monstrous six. The teenager has arrived.

Mahmood takes an early wicket and removes Greaves

Great discipline by the English pacers so far.

In the first 10 overs, West Indian pacers sprayed 38% of their deliveries either wide of off or down the leg side. The corresponding figure for England is just 19%.

That is their lowest in a home ODI since their encounter against Pakistan in Cardiff in 2021.

Mahmood was discussing with Brook about whether that was worthy of another review, but England decide against it.

Earlier in the over, England may well have gone for that.

  12. WI 70-4published at 12 overs

    Target 401

Saqib Mahmood is greedy for wickets. He already has three, he convinces Brook to review a caught behind, and bellows unsuccessfully for an lbw.

Jamie Overton is back on the field and he doesn't appear to have any bandages on his hand as he shows off his injury to the umpire.

  13. Not outpublished at 11.4 overs

He didn't get any bat on it. Nervy moments for West Indies.

Amir Jangoo did look a little bit sheepish but I'm not sure if he clipped it on the way to the keeper.

  15. England reviewpublished at 11.4 overs

Could this be two wickets in two balls? Jos Buttler and Saqib Mahmood both seem fairly confident that Amir Jangoo has been caught out for a duck and Harry Brook instructs the umpires to send it upstairs.

Another brilliant catch! We have seen a number today. It was Carse out there, caught one handed as it looked to be going for six.

    Hope is shaking his head.

  18. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 11.3 overs

    Hope c Carse b Mahmood 25 (WI 66-4)

We've been treated to some fantastic catches today but this one from Brydon Carse is possibly the pick of the bunch.

It's a leaping one-handed catch on the boundary to deny a certain six. Shai Hope can't believe it. Saqib Mahmood can't believe it. Carse has a huge grin on his face, and rightly so.

  19. Postpublished at 18:29 British Summer Time 29 May

    Ebony Rainford-Brent
Former England batter on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

It is hard for West Indies to know how to play this when you are chasing such a huge run total. Hope is deliberately trying to get it over the inner field, but not quite getting it to the boundary.

  20. WI 66-3published at 11 overs

    Target 401

He's been lucky with a few edges but Shai Hope is also finding a lot of joy in hitting the ball up and over the inner ring.

You suspect he'll have to channel his inner Hayley Matthews (his West Indies Women counterpart) during the chase. He feels like the backbone of West Indies' batting.
