James Bracey tickles one off his legs to pick up a single. This partnership between Bracey and Cameron Green is now worth 39 runs and it's an important one for Gloucestershire.

  2. Anderson v Anderssonpublished at 16:22 British Summer Time

    Derbys 173-5 - target 329

Martin Andersson has George Bell at short leg and Keaton Jennings fielding just off the cut strip on the legside as James Anderson comes in again.

The tall all-rounder's defence looks solid enough this time around, squeezing out the final ball into the legside.

  3. Postpublished at 16:20 British Summer Time

    Glos 94-4 - target 162

Cameron Green is making light work of this at the moment.

He steps across his stumps and works it through the leg side wonderfully for another four.

Green moves onto 32 and that's an expensive couple of overs from Grant Stewart with 20 runs off them.

  4. Postpublished at 16:19 British Summer Time

    Derbys 173-5 - target 329

James Anderson turns to the umpire and lets out a huge appeal as he swings one into the pads of Martin Andersson.

It flies away down to the fine leg boundary for four leg byes.

The only runs of Anderson's latest foray.

Tom Hartley follows with yet another maiden and 34 overs remain to bat out.

  5. 'Clarke will be the one calming note'published at 16:17 British Summer Time

    Durham 664 v Notts 407 & 314-7

    Dave Bracegirdle
    BBC Radio Nottingham commentator

Clarke will be the one calming note out there for the Nottinghamshire bench and supporters.

There's about 33 overs remaining - Durham could have a good go at this chase if they bowl Notts out in 20 overs.

  6. Postpublished at 16:17 British Summer Time

    Glos 90-4 - target 162

Cameron Green skies one through the air over mid-wicket but it drops safely and Gloucestershire can pick up another two.

Green then punches into the on side for four off Grant Stewart.

Another 72 runs needed now for the hosts.

Remember, they haven't won at home in three seasons. This would be big.

    James c Robinson b Ackermann 0 (Durham 664 v Notts 407 & 314-7 - lead by 57)

    Now then...

Durham go bang-bang as spin does the trick again.

Lyndon James flashes at a ball outside off stump and nicks off to Ollie Robinson for a 10-ball duck.

Liam Patterson-White is on a pair as he walks to the middle.

This game is turning on its head. And the new ball is just two overs away.

  8. 100 runs

100 up for Joe Clarkepublished at 16:12 British Summer Time

    Durham 664 v Notts 407 & 313-6 - lead by 56

    Take a bow, Joe Clarke!

He pats George Drissell into the legside for a single which brings a century off 140 balls. It's his 25th first-class ton.

Clarke picked up just 41 runs from his previous five knocks, but has found his form today.

An expensive over for Kent's Grant Stewart comes to an end as Cameron Green picks up another two on the leg side.

That's 10 from the over and Gloucestershire have themselves back in the driving seat now you feel.

  10. 'A lot of nerves for the home supporters'published at 16:11 British Summer Time

    Glos 80-4 - target 162

    Dan Whiting
    BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Before tea you could hear a pin drop.

A lot of nerves here for the home supporters - they haven't won here since 2022.

I think Gloucestershire are the favourites now, I think they'll win by four wickets.

  11. Final session begins at Old Traffordpublished at 16:08 British Summer Time

    Derbys 169-5 - target 329

Spin gets us under way as Tom Hartley sends down a maiden to Anuj Dal.

Then it's time for more James Anderson - can he produce another match-winning burst.

He almost makes the breakthrough with his third ball as he finds the inside edge of Martin Andersson's bat.

It squirts inches past the stumps and runs down to the fine leg boundary.

    He knew little about that!

  12. Postpublished at 16:08 British Summer Time

    Glos 79-4 - target 162

Another boundary as Cameron Green crashes Grant Stewart to the cover boundary for four. Green plays a similar shot the very next ball but it's well cut off by Chris Benjamin for Kent.

Another three added to the total though and the runs are flowing nicely after the tea break for Gloucestershire.

  13. 'A spanner in the works'published at 16:05 British Summer Time

    Durham 664 v Notts 407 & 309-6

    Dave Bracegirdle
    BBC Radio Nottingham commentator

There's a little spanner in the works at the start of this final session.

Durham have gone with spin at both ends.

  14. Postpublished at 16:05 British Summer Time

    Glos 72-4 - target 162

James Bracey nicely guides one off the back foot for four through the off side from Kashif Ali and every single boundary feels significant in this run chase for Gloucestershire.

  15. Postpublished at 16:04 British Summer Time

    Glos 68-4 - target 162

Cameron Green rushes through for a quick single off Kashif Ali and James Bracey has to try and race through as Kent make a direct hit... but the umpire is unmoved.

Hands on heads of the Kent fielders but Bracey looked to have made his ground.

    Verreynne c Robinson b Drissell 38 (Durham 664 v Notts 407 & 305-6 - lead by 48)

    What a start!

With the game looking to be heading to be draw, George Drissell strikes with his first ball after tea.

A switch of ends does the trick for the spinner as he gets an under-edge from Kyle Verreynne through to Ollie Robinson.

Lyndon James is in to join Joe Clarke.

  19. Tea in the North Eastpublished at 15:56 British Summer Time

Notts 305-5 lead Durham by 48

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

That's tea on the final day and it's gone very much as I predicted this morning.

There's been no flurry of wickets. Notts now have a lead and the overs are gradually disappearing on a track which has offered little to the bowlers for four days.

Joe Clarke has 92 and Kyle Verreynne 38. Their partnership is 80.

At 305-5, Notts lead Durham by 48 and only one wicket has fallen in the afternoon session.

Unless something incredible happens, it will be handshakes at 4.50pm.

  20. Tea at Chester-le-Streetpublished at 15:45 British Summer Time

    Durham 664 v Notts 407 & 305-5 - lead by 48

Nottinghamshire look to be inching closer to safety after having the best of the afternoon session.

Joe Clarke's 12th boundary took the visitors past 300 in the final over before tea and the Notts number four has gone a long way to saving the game with 92.

Kyle Verreynne goes to tea on 38.

They now lead by 48 runs with 38 overs left in the day. Durham need to summon up something special - and quickly - to force a win.
