This is brutal.

George Munsey smashes Mehran over cow corner for six. He has 41 from just 19 deliveries.

There's no let up from Munsey or Scotland.

He drops down onto one knee and belts Mehran Khan down the ground for four more.

The Omani bowler then over corrects and fires a dreadful delivery down the leg side that beats the keeper and goes to the boundary.

Ilyas drops a man back for the shot, but it doesn't bother Munsey. Reverse sweep again, and six more!

Aqib Ilyas brings himself into the attack, but drops a wee bit short and McMullen rocks back and hammers it for four through the off side.

I'm feeling a lot calmer. The first couple of overs I was a bit nervous, Oman started very well.

But it's been very similar to Oman's innings. 50-1 after six overs - I'm feeling pretty good.

A dot to finish the powerplay, but Scotland will be pleased with their start.

They are well ahead of the rate at this stage.

It's a balance of getting up with the rate and putting pressure on the bowlers, but also making sure you have wickets in hand.

Boy does George Munsey hit the ball hard.

It's a bit full from Shakeel and Munsey belts it through mid-on for four. The fielder didn't even move.

McMullen drives nicely through the covers for four.

The 24-year-old is a serious talent, and will want to show it on the global stage.

McMullen gets off the mark with a single into the leg side to finish the fourth over.

Shakeel Ahmed, who was hit for two big sixes by Michael Jones, will return at the other end.

George Munsey runs at Kaleemullah and a thick top edge flies away for six down to third man.

It's not pretty, but it sure is effective.

That's a big wicket. Michael Jones's role as an opener is to get them off to a good start. 16 from 13 for him but Scotland aren't necessarily in a tricky position.

They need to make sure batters coming in are able to keep up with the run rate and they can't let Oman think they're on top at any point.
